The nice thing about GvG being out is I can safely craft missing cards from the core set without worrying about getting duplicates in packs. I'd be able to make about 6 epics and 6 legendaries.
the big neutral ones i'm missing from core are Cairne, Black Knight, Alexstrasza, Ysera, although Cairne and Ysera seem out of favour these days. I think I'll get Jaraxxus for my warlock decks, and I could probably start playing control warrior if I made Grommash too.
and new set cards that look promising are Vol'jin, Mal'ganis and Dr Boom. Decisions...
Dr. Boom is seeing play in a lot of places, so he's a good craft. Ysera is slightly out of favor but still good: Cairne seems to be far gone, though.

Thanks for the feedback! Decided to go for Dr. Boom first since the 7-slot was generally lacking in most classes, and even druid would be happy running this over Ancient of War because of the token synergy.

Opened up a Bolvar in my last pack so I decided to make a Control Paladin deck:
The two cards that fell off the bottom of the picture are Sea Giants. They've added a nice bit of punch in the mid game and soak up removal before the legendaries come out. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to deal with the early game; I'm considering swapping the sheep or pyro/protector out for Doomsayers.

I'm not a fan of Sheep, Unstable Ghoul, Annoy-a-tron and Zombie Chow can do a better job of slowing an aggro deck down. I'd also remove the sunfury protector since you're running 2 Belchers and Hogger. Is a Faceless Manipulator necessary? I'd rather have BGH since you have enough lategame power. Since you're including Healbot I'd also scrap the Guardian of Kings since it doesn't really earn its place in the deck IMO.
So for replacements, I'd include 2x Chow, possibly an Earthen Ring as well so you have something you'd be happy playing on turn 3. A second Quartermaster is I'm guessing something you don't have yet? I'd certainly include that once available. Oh and I prefer BGH to Faceless since BGH is a 3 mana card than can trade vs aggro instead of Faceless which is a 5 mana card with the same basic effect.
I've also lost a lot of faith in Ragnaros so I'd swap in something else, perhaps some card draw since this deck seems to be lacking in that regard (Lay on hands is too slow for the aggro games).

I don't play paladin, but I think kezan mystic is also a questionable card unless you really run into a lot of secret mages. Why not just play a card that synergizes with recruits in that slot, such as sword of justice or cult master?

I saw a bunch of hunters playing feign death but apart from the combo with Sylvanas I don't like the card since it sits in hand so long waiting for the right timing. Then I realised that if Feign Death is going to be held to late game anyway, why not just play Kel'Thuzad instead? And he works really well because it's not too hard to have a few tokens sitting on board. The early death rattles bait out silences so Sylvanas can work well without the combo + sometimes there is a Taunt spare part for her.
1 - undertaker x2, clockwork gnome x2, webspinner x2
2 - freezing trap x2, snake trap x1, haunted creeper x2, mad scientist x2
3 - eaglehorn bow x2, animal companion x2, kill command x2
4 - houndmaster x1, piloted shredder x2
5 - sludge belcher x2
6 - savannah highmane x2, Sylvanas
7 - Dr. Boom
8 - Ragnaros, Kel'thuzad

For the first time since... May? June? I bothered to play ranked all the way up to legend. It was fun trying out new decks with GvG cards, though of course trying out new stuff meant it didn't go as fast as it possibly could.
My most successful deck was this demon one. It's the one that got me from rank 2 up to legend, and it performed way better than I expected. The feign death hunter deck was fun, but realistically speaking it was mostly breaking even at rank 2. I also played a lot of the mage deck I posted earlier, with +1 Ragnaros +1 Spellbreaker -1 Piloted Sky Golem -1 Piloted Shredder. It had a good run during a time I wasn't seeing any priests, but also hit a wall around rank 2.
P.S. Mind Control Tech got a big buff when everyone started running Dr. Boom.
P.P.S. Craziest moment was definitely as the hunter deck, when a priest who had played Dr. Boom the previous turn and still had all three out followed it up with Thoughtsteal, Baron Rivendare (stolen), Feign Death (stolen). Are you kidding me, that's MY combo! So many bombs, but he still lost the next turn.

What's your opinion on Sneed's Old Shredder vs. Ragnaros? I am not really convinced the former is such a good pick. Is it worth crafting?
Some disadvantages I could think of:
- 5/7 for 8 mana is bad
- Has no immediate effect as opposed to Rag
- suspectible to silence, Rag turns into 8/8
- Deathrattle is random (Lorewalker Cho, Van Cleef, Tinkmaster)

I think Sneed's isn't that good in general, but it's one of the strongest cards to combine with feign death against a control deck, along with sylvanas. I have seen it played in a few other decks, but those decks also played rag - it was just yet another legendary. Now, I guess it's possible that if you're trying to have 0 BGH targets you might choose sneed's over rag, but I think the only proactive reason to value it higher is feign death.

Having a bit of success with the updated deathrattle priest
Originally this idea started with Velen, 2 mind blasts, 2 holy fires, 2 smites -- just too many spells. I'd never get in range to use the finisher because I'd never have enough board presence. So I added in the deathrattle mechs for some sticky board presence and put undertaker back in. Haven't tracked wins and losses because I'm only in the upper teens as far as ranking, but it's been winning a lot more than it loses so far.
Disclaimer: This only seems to be good against all the aggro decks on the ladder right now. It's coming up short against control.
