I vote that q is the tie breaker.

That'd be a fine vote if you were actually playing.

You aren't going to sway me with sweat talk.

I have no idea what that is, lol.

It's like sweet talk, but a bit less appealing. And won't be swaying my vote.

I'm interested to know what tie-breakers are possible for a four player game other than "guy who suggested game gets casting vote" or "lurkers chip in". What did you have in mind?

One more piece of information I'll need to make a map: what version of EitB are you playing?

I won't need that info until everyone sends in picks; I have exactly zero so far.

You use a random number generator to decide the constested settings. Or you have an invested 3rd party tie break. I'm fine with the latter in this case and it has my vote.

Also dave. No picks until you state what the map and settings will be yourself. And also duplicate civs I'd rather be allowed because it's anticompetitive otherwise.

This is eitb 11.1

Invested like a lurker? What if there's a tie on the tiebreaker vote?

Invested like a mapmaker for a game or a mutually agreed upon third party. Dave is fine and good for this game in my vote. There's no tir on a tie breaker. The third party only comes in when there is a tie.

We also need a forum.

Err, whatever we do, don't get the mapmaker involved. It's important that all concerned view him as impartial.

Yeah, it's v11.1.

Kragroth, all of this is very premature, we don't even know whether or not Northstar would support your side. Until we hear from him otherwise, you can simply consider yourself outvoted. (And why would I not be tiebreaker? I really don't like to put my foot down, but the fact of the matter is if it does come to it, it is on some small level my game as the proposer, so I think I have enough right to break ties.)

I'll reiterate, duplicate civs will not be happening. Get used to it.
