I can understand and see the reasons for the Goreripper & Zakalwe votes, but the one that jumped out for me was Rowain stating he'd rather not lynch Zak for Day 1.

Is that a typo? Nobody has voted for me.

AdrienIer, do you think that scum are generally likely to be more aggressive than town? What's your past experience with forum mafia games?

Because at the moment Bob is the one I want to see swinging from the gallow.

Aren't you putting words in Rowain's mouth there? I don't see him saying that he's determined to make Bob swing. "At the moment" is an important qualifier.

Kind of. I mean, I can see the suspicion on you, and Goreripper. I wasn't particularly paying attention to the actual votecounts (though I did think someone had voted you, but apparently not).

My experience with forum mafia games is actually none at all. But at this stage you can't really have any evidence of someone being scum, it's just picking whoever has the strangest attitude. In this case Rowain's posts (the ones I quoted before) were a bit overly defensive and he appeared rather tense for someone with only 2 votes against him at the time.

C'mon Rowain. You followed up on novice's "Zak seems grey" thing with "Zak rings my scum meter, but let's not lynch him for 2 days". Possible motives:
A) you think Zak is scum and he's your buddy
B) you think Zak is scum and you want him to stay alive as third party
C) you know Zak is scum but want everyone else to think he's scum so you don't actually have to lead the charge because you're scum
D) You don't think Zak is scum, but you want to make sure everyone keeps Zak in mind in case he is scum
E) You think Zak is too important to kill even if he's scummy (Trying to think like you...?)

Four fifths of the reasons that I can think you would say what you said are bad for town.

I really don't like this Lewwyn . I think Rowain is acting very much like standard WW Rowain. I happen to find that persona very unlikable, but with even my limited experience I find it to be a persona and not a scum tell.

On a more serious note Rowain is giving off the same edgy feel I get whenever I read his posts. He sounds the same to me from the first game I was played with him.

Actually, your list is silly. My list are all pretty probable reasons for the original statements Rowain made. They are all very probable. I would even give them all pretty similar probabilities... at the time I wrote them. I went to bed soon after that.

But actually I agree with you about Rowain acting a bit standard Rowain since I last posted. Gruff and combative as usual.

I would look at Brickastley for a few overeager follow up posts on Rowain, since he's not really gotten any pressure about bad posts.

As are the qualifiers I put in my statements you quoted. I put them in bold, so they are easier to find.

Upon reflection, I think putting those in bold red was probably a bad choice, as it's likely to cause issues with vote tracker if I understand it correctly. Suggestions to fix that, since I can't edit?
