Wait, what's the case on Q again? Besides the notion that one of the Rowain bandwagoners must be a wolf?

Novice also note that the "Goregripper" vote should probably be counted with the Goreripper ones wink

Hey I will join you on Jabbz he definitely is worst looking of the Rowain voters.

He said it was less than serious so I would assume it was actually a vote for a terrible Al Gore Ronald Reagan flesh golem.

I would like to hear MJW's ruling about those 2 cases.

If Rowain doesn't strike you as scummy, who does at the moment? Do you think Goreripper is still the best target? Why is Rowain's perceived obnoxiousness not scummy, but Goreripper's is?

Rowain looks to me to be playing the same way he does every game, which is a style I find personally annoying but not nearly meriting a vote. Everyone I'm familiar with here is playing the same basic way they do in like every itineration of WW, regardless of alignment. Novice is quietly assuming a position of presumed authority by taking the driver's seat in discussions whenever possible. Jowy is a couple unkind comments away from exploding. Brick is friendly and talkative, even when he has nothing to say. Sunrise is trying to float through while posting the exact bare minimum necessary to let us know he's actually playing. Zak has reopened his therapist detective shop. I know I play essentially the same way in every game, no matter what team I'm on.

"Goreripper" is different, though. Commodore's operating under a self-imposed style restriction in order to gratuitously snipe at Jowy and give the appearance of heavy participation with a minimum of effort. It bothers me, it's pointlessly unhelpful to the town, and it earns him my Day One vote.

@ novice:

I don't have any leads on anyone, if that's what you're asking. All the analysis I see currently is the typical Day One bickering over "strange posts", as though someone in our community of veteran WW players is going to be so flustered by a scum role that they'll inadvertently out themselves before the first lynch. The vast majority of players don't even seen out of character to me anyway, as noted above.

I also did warn before joining this game that I wasn't going to invest myself in it to the same degree as the last few I participated in. I'm going to try to stay engaged, but don't expect a constant running analysis or barrage of questions.

Actually, I kind of posted it in jest, but I really wouldn't be surprised if Jkaen's avatar + title signals that he's scum. We've had someone change their new pic after their Big Reveal at least a couple times. But that's such a meta level of reasoning that I can't justify it as the basis for a vote, at least not until there's content / actions to pair with it.

There's too many ways something can get misspelled for me to make a ruling but I'd count BaII's vote here.

And Jabbz vote counts; the fact that mafiatracker cannot track it doesn't matter for the rules even though it's annoying.

Neither zak nor Brick nor somebody else has so far been enough scummy to switch my vote.

especially given that there is so little info out there, to be determined to make him swing seems odd. There could be a reason I suppose though, maybe he squashed him in a game recently?

Aren't you putting words in Rowain's mouth there? I don't see him saying that he's determined to make Bob swing. "At the moment" is an important qualifier.

As are the qualifiers I put in my statements you quoted. I put them in bold, so they are easier to find.

I don't like this response. I was asking him to reconsider his vote, but all he did was to defend it.

Jabbz

Not very keen on lynching Rowain or Brick.
If you know what I mean.

That's got to be the weakest argument ever. I switched once i knew if was modern themed werewolf to a spy type look (plus my title hasn't switched for about a year)
