Hmm good spot. Brick hasn't posted since just before Gore could talk again, and has been around plenty

The ideal is one third of the players as mafia in a role madness set up so making two guys half mafia makes it work out for sixteen guys. Although BrickAstley said a strange thing here so I need to go back and look. He said it like he was the Man Who Was Thursday.

Like I was the who who was what?

After a quick wikipedia jaunt, it looks like you're alluding to me being a rabble-rouser, or a double agent of some sort? That's interesting, though I'm not sure what I've done to give you that impression.

He lives!

Good i wouldn't be happen if the GM was dropping stealth poisonings on us

I think Jowy's point is that Brick was targeted by something unknown last night, so he might be poisoned and scheduled to die next night, unless somebody can cure him.

ohh, i didn't get that.

That's a bit of a stretch isn't it, what do we have to support that theory?

Yeah, it's a bit too stagnant for my taste.

I feel like there's only like 3 of us actual villagers left and everyone else is scum or traitor. And since MJW is hosting and 2/3 dead so far were traitors, I can't just dismiss that in my head as a possibility. :P

I've been peeking in off and on today, and have some good ideas of whats going on, but I'm tied down on time until tomorrow. Only two people are voting for me. You have a weak as shit case against me and Gazglum seems to be doing more poking than actually accusing me of anything. Just not worried enough to get defensive atm.

But... you are being defensive. I never said I had a strong case. I said you're avoiding saying anything that will give people a read on you. You say you're busy. But in this post you could have just said, "I suspect ____" and voted. Instead you are continuing to try and give the brush off.

I am in agreement with Lewwyn here. I've been a bit focused in other directions so I'll need to go back and confirm with what Jabbz has posted before, but I'm also getting the feeling that his whole content contribution is just damage control.

Not sure how you can do that in a werewolf game.

If everyone stops listening to those who they suspect, we'd have a deaf town smile

I agree, you have to listen to those you suspect. But listening and considering doesn't warrant you just easily switching back and forth, and throwing away/excusing a persons rap sheet based on one small item (especially if you've been suspicious that they've been lying), or you're ignoring any convictions you might have and are just going with the feeling of the moment. If that's the case, then let's just not even vote til the last hour and kill whoever the majority around feels lie they want to kill in the heat of the moment. It won't be any less effective, and it'd be more honest.

Again it seems you are really grasping at any possible avenue of thought that could save bob. I feel there must be a reason for this.

Isn't that how we always play? :P

What's your take on Bob at this point?

No need for theorizing. If someone does have a role that cures poison, then it's fair to assume that poison also exists and was probably used on Brick last night and he should be cured smile

Its probably going to be more distracting for town here if I don't partially claim, even if it helps scum a bit.

I have an ability which targets another person, the success of which wouldn't normally be obviously apparent (i.e. not like a seer where you would get instant feedback from it) I was informed by the GM that it had succeeded.

I normally wouldn't have expected that information to be provided.

Given I was told i succeeded, and brick was told he was visited I inferred all roles are getting similar feedback from the GM

Brick was not the person i interacted with

Hmm, this is interesting. I would note that I wouldn't expect any particular cinsistency with regular WW conventions from MJ, since his games are usually a bit odd.

Also I can confirm that I have no knowledge or hint of who did an action to me. Unless their role/action is tied into the flavor of what I was informed about.

(January 20th, 2015, 05:52)Jkaen Wrote: Please note implications of the visit notification that I just thought of. If another scum other than Bob was visited for any reason, they would have been informed of this (assuming my theory is right) and hence could have informed bob that they too like brick got notification, making his gamble safer.

I'm not sure I can say this with 100% certainty, since I don't know what action you carried out on someone, but based only on what I was informed of, I do NOT think it safe to assume that all targets are getting a notification.
