I think my thread shows that I was really worried about you at the beggining of the game. I think that your opening was stronger than mine and you'd be ahead if it wasn't for the conflict with Dazed. I think you'd have contested quite a bit of my city spots to your E, especially the marble, the 2 seafood island Moai city and the copper, and would probably get the best of it (it wasn't easy for me to defend there and I was running really thin for quite a bit, only saved by your conflict with Dazed). Besides, you could have made a run for the Mids, considering the stone to your south.
In that sense, this game wasn't really fair, it was two duels and a sandbox for quite a long time and I was the lucky one. I think my opening micro would be competitive with everyone else's, but it certainly wouldn't result in such a big lead if it wasn't for all the fighting abroad.
