Huh, I must've missed this on the way through. If you rerolled anyway, why post it? It only seems to distract from the issue. And if you were going to post it, why reroll? Especially seeing as sticking with your self-vote would also have pushed through the joke vote phase you were so eager to push past.
This all seems a bit weird, IMO.

Also, if you want to play more games, having a policy of "always vote for the best wolf players," also known as "always vote for the same people," is not likely to encourage them to play more games with you.

Idk, because he thought it was funny and didn't want to actually vote for himself? All 3 options (unmentioned reroll, stick to self vote, reroll but mention) seem to make plausible sense to me, reading anything out of it feels so forced.
I guess that's the point, force stuff, but I just have trouble with the doublethink required: "I'm doing things that don't make sense, but I need to act like they make sense so I can do things that make sense later, all while simultaneously attacking other people for not making sense despite them being aware of this same logic"
Bad logic wolf points. But seems to be common and maybe i'm just crazy.
On the other hand Qqqqqqq tying up the votes makes sense. Force actual decisions on people and force wolves to actually commit to something. But since this works much better if we get at least 1 wolf up there... shutgun approach: anyone want to join me on Qqqqqq so we can have 3 people up there?

Fair meaning "fair to other player's enjoyment of the game", not "in line with rules of the game". That's just purposefully misunderstanding the context.

It's not "always vote for the best wolf players", but "start out d1 voting for the best wolf players, since creating info out of that set of targets is better than just random joke votes." And I don't think it works as a general policy since the info gathering is defeated by cross-game policy voting. And I don't think you at all need to stick to the meta vote at the actual lynch, just use that as a springboard instead of using made-up tells as a spring board.
Most of which I said earlier.

I rerolled as an afterthought because more votes on people is better, I didn't want to go to sleep not voting for someone.

It feels like we're getting out of the joke phase even if I didn't stick to my vote, all thanks to you. Not sure xhere you're getting at ?

Kind of agree, even though it can be tempting to make something out of nothing, just to get going.
I also think Mattimeo's attack on dtay is a bit of a stretch. Maybe the atmospheric noise was on to something.

Having secluded myself for Fat Tuesday, I return to find our town descended into madness? A gibbet erected in our rain-swept streets! Dark words spoken in shadowed halls. Calm down brothers, we are not such animals as to kill our own...
*reads own name on the rolls*
I cannot believe this treachery! Someone will hang for this! The Glums have been upstanding citizens of Kingsport for two hundred years. Novice, I have known you and your brother since you were babes. Rowain, once I thought we meant something to each other, but clearly I was wrong. Lewwyn…well, I cannot say I am surprised, sir.
There is something unclean among us, to have caused us to turn on each other. Perhaps it lies within Mr Brick, who has denounced as silly any votes for Adrien over his jokey opening posts, when there is nothing else yet to base votes on except jokey opening posts.

That doesn't really answer Qgs question why you posted the selfvote. Afterall there past little time between your selfvote and the Mattimeo-vote Scumpoints for your start of day.

Also if people listen to him remember my good wolf games are a result of lunacy and luck rather than me actually having any skill.
That sounds a bit overly defensive too me. Additional scumpoints for the defend AdrienIer post
3rdly Mattimeos attack on dtay. While I don't agree with dtay concerning AdrienIer and Qgqqqqq I don't think it deserves a vote.
So scumpoints for Matt too.

Selfvote explained on post 50. More explicitly I found the coincidence funny, and my sleepy mind thought that the possibility of getting votes because of that was actually a good thing, and my not-as-sleepy mind agrees.
About Brick are you suggesting that we're both scum and he went to my rescue halfway through D1 when I have 3 votes ? That would be the worst scum play ever
Brick's "defensive" post was I think just an attempt at humor in an apparently too serious ww community
