He's actually participated today.

So the vote stands at 3v3v3 for Qg, Jabbz and Fenn. That is actually not a terrible setup going into the final hours here.

I at least liked how lazy the the day was by making me only have to catch up on 13 pages of posts and not 20+
Qqqqqq. I still don't like the comedy of errors involved in not actually knowing who zak voted for when you voted for him based on his vote, while still trying to nudge other votes last-minute. I also don't like his defense in post 423 when he argues a zak night-kill would have a bunch of downsides for for scum-Q but would still be the right call. I'm not eager to move off Q, but I also have problems with a pair of Jabbz posts. If you want to claim that makes me scum, knock yourself out. That felt like some post-death buddying, since I don't recall the 'good arguments' compliment being thrown around before the flip. I also don't like the counter to Lewwyn's "please make reads" request. I lurked last game pretty carefully jabbz, and you were being complicated in your good reads despite constantly being attacked. You got sympathy from the lurker crowd because you didn't have time to better articulate your reads. Using that recent example as an excuse to not offer reads at all seems sketchy. Lewwyn and Rowain also get -points from my read. Go back to it, but for now I gave the subject of zakalwe's death some thought after your earlier post rebutting my initial interpretation, and decided that it was more likely that he was killed to frame the zak voters than to get rid of somebody who suspected wolf-Q. I was going to make a post similar to Rowain's when I got online but he beat me to the punch. Is it scummy to change your mind on something without making a series of posts showing your change in position? Possible action of scum or town though, so a null tell to me. It looks scummy, but it could have come from a town or scum Brick. Town players do scummy things too, after all. I'm sure you especially could appreciate that if you are town. Q's posts are still scummy to me, but I also get the feeling that zak was killed to frame Q and I. My vote will stay on Jabbz for the time being then, he really should have given some reads by this point in the day.
If I had to guess why zak was killed, honestly I'd say it's because he's zak. I'm not sure there was any agenda to tying it to voters, it's just taking out someone who was a solid player and unlikely to be voted for again since it had gone between him and mattimeo. Which makes me think we have a vet or two left among the wolves. I think my understanding of who the veterans are is a little behind the times, though.
So I'd expect someone who didn't even get involved in the Mattimeo discussion until the very end to be a part.. You know, there weren't any lone votes cast on third party people. I remember day 1 votes being more scattershot as more people have their own takes. How quickly did scum decide to bus mattimeo? Need to keep looking, cause it's never as easy as today feels and that's giving me cold feet about the people that are up for the lead today. It's between Jabbz and Fenn for me. I'll have to reread Q's stuff again, but my take before was that he was just out of touch and skimming stuff. He actually thought my mixup was between him and someone else. Gonna go with Jabbz. He hasn't really posted anything of substance. (February 22nd, 2015, 12:29)Doctor Saul Wrote: It's between Jabbz and Fenn for me. Yes, Q did seem out of touch, which brings up the question of why he would try to prevent an excellent default lynch in Mattimeo. Also, Q claims that he was fully caught up. I don't actually believe that. But you should base a town read on Q on that premise, not on a premise that he was out of touch.
I have to run.

Those are both really good points. It's hard to say Q is out of touch and then watch him say he was caught up. When I played Saul in the masquarade game I played it up quite a bit as a bumbling fool and it worked far better than I expected it to. So no, I don't think he's town for doing it. I know I infamously said early on that he read normal to me, but he definitely does not read normal to me now. I just like the case on Jabbz better. I'm going to be working on my homework but I'll keep an eye on the game. All I have to do is make it so a term signal doesn't kill the shell but does kill any foreground process running. If it goes as quick as I hope it will I'll take a closer look at Q. (February 22nd, 2015, 10:21)BRickAstley Wrote: Probably won't be able to be on here much for the rest of today. I still feel reasonably confident about Qgqqqqq. It feels like last game, with him being caught in doing something fishy and trying to then convince his way out of it. Saying that he doesn't do anything risky is not quote true because he did a good few risky things last game, like the trying to breadcrumb roleblocked and how he played out his cop claim in general. I think he's good at trying to drag himself to safety after being caught in something and that's what's going on here. I can believe him saying he didn't plan all this out because he doesn't plan big gambit, but I can see him falling into one by last minute actions and then sticking it out and that that's what happened here. I'm going to change my vote to Fenn for now, I started my reread on him and I don't like what I see. Several weird things like

I think he stated things like "well I'm town so..." two or three times. Worth noting IMO But it's not my main argument (I know I've said similar things myself before), more importantly his posts lacked any sort of real content until 10 pages ago, when he was attacked, and still the posts aren't long. He's been clearly lurking at several moments, summarizing the state of the game to Lewwyn at the end of D1 for example, yet not doing real scumhunting. Another quote I have a problem with is this : (February 21st, 2015, 03:34)Fenn Wrote: Decisiveness is not something I have in spades for better or worse.
