WW 36 - Horrors in Kingsport [Game Thread]

If you really are town then it's likely we're both going to lose novice. Because right now you're slinging so hard onto me if you flip town then I can see myself going down for being so confident about you. It will be lynch you, lynch Brick, lynch me, town loses.

If you want to convince me that you're town and that Brick is setting you up, and the whole Day 2 / Day 3 was an aberration of bad play and not a scummy novice mislynching Q, then I need you to start acting like town. Start bringing some actual cases up. Start pointing out why reasons why you think people are town. The only thing you've given me is Brick -- an accusation that you would have to make whether you are town or scum -- or myself, which is all based on ... what, exactly? That Mattimeo was sacked to save me? That I am suspicious now just because I was suspicious later? Where have i seen that before...

1. Barely shake off early bandwagon
2. Nail a couple wolves
3. Get mislynched at the end, mostly on the grounds of the early bandwagon.

Nice to see the time apart hasn't changed anything

Oh yeah, that's right! Every scum win ever against me!

You know, I've never actually been scum in a standard game. My first game ever I was scum but there were two scum teams in that game. And then I played the traitor in the masquarade game, where I didn't know the identity of scum but still did a better job than the town did in figuring out who they were.

Here's what you wrote about me day 1. I guess you're right; "defending" is too strong a term to use. But you didn't like the case against me then:

Nothing changed. I gave his wagon a push but the case is pretty tenuous. I think Adrien is slightly more scummy. Also I agree with what Gaspar wrote.

The Gaspar point you were agreeing to was:
(February 18th, 2015, 18:18)Gaspar Wrote: The Sauldicator stuff just reads like every Pindicator game ever, where he puts his foot in his mouth and then gets annoyed, or basically the Gaspar starter kit. I'd rather hear his reads in a day or two than hang him now for basically being himself.

So what changed to make you think you were wrong then? And then one more thing: play the what-if game if I'm not scum; who would be Brick's scum-buddy in that situation? How about you give us some actual town tells and talk about more than just whoever is in your targets at the time.

For your hypothetical, I'm guessing you mean if they were both alive? I would need more information to make a choice; I suspected zak more this game, but I've never been have felt good about being able to read Mattimeo. I've mislynched him in too many games. Considering all I knew at that time I guess zak, but depending on how I felt about other people, if Mattimeo was the only unknown going against a lot of people I felt town on I might just scan Mattimeo and use it to check my blindspot while I keep pursuing the case against zak.

If you're really town and have just played an awful town game, then Brick is obviously scum. So I do owe you a Brick read. But I'm booked for the rest of today; I have a dinner in less than an hour that i need to get ready for and then a work meeting with my group about our school project.

I meant if you had to choose on day 1.

Towny to scummy ranking: Dtay, Sunrise, AdrienIer, Jabbz, Saul, BRick.

I'm not slinging hard on you Saul, like you said I haven't really fleshed out the case on you at all. And at any rate, if your worry is being mislynched for being too certain on me, how is me slinging hard on you relevant?

My main concern today is getting Brick lynched. I'd like your comments on what I've posted on him so far. That day three post of his is pretty damning IMO.

You feeling pressured by me is a little backwards, I have to say.

Something tells me this is going to be an absurdly long day with Novice being on the block, ranging out somewhere, coming back to novice, rinse, and repeat.

FWIW I'm inclined to vote novice, and lynch Brick if we're wrong. It's not LYLO AFAIK so it puts us in a tense spot if Novice is the wrong lynch, but its not over.

The simplest way of explaining my vote is that I find novice to be substantially more scummy than I find brick to be. Since Brick's claim frames this as a clear black/white issue, I'll go with white, and hope I haven't been tricked. Novice

As an aside, I'm a sleeper in the bed vanilla townie.

Jabbz, anything else to contribute, apart from "Novice is scummy"?

Saul's claim, Brick's day 3, Brick's day 4, town reads, anything else?

Saul, if you had to choose between Zak and Mattimeo on day one, who would you have targetted?

Thanks for indulging me.

I'm pretty sure I said more than that, but other than what I've said, not too much. Strong arguments have been made against you. Strong arguments have been made against the idea that Brick is running a gambit. Other arguments have been made in opposition of those arguments. I find the ones that say Brick is town more persuasive.

Quick question: Dtay hasn't claimed, right? If that's correct I'd like to request he do so.
