I don't know what is better: the fact that "pink dot" is now a verb, or that I completely understand the reference.
I think I can get Aidun on the horn if you need help working something out.

Hark, it is turn fifty! I just posted graphs, so I won't repeat so soon, and I'm about to settle the next cities, so tribal overview will wait, but for now...Schlock's borders popped, and now we see this is all one rather large island to the south. Sailing would be a handy tech, need to weave it in soon methinks. Although I certainly hope for better food than just a single grass cow.
Moo. This is the more subtle Krill joke on the map.

It's turn fifty-one, and we're two cities richer plus being sore pressed along yet another axis! On the plus side, we're also hooking up copper as of next turn and we're not particularly worried about barbarians, state solidarity woo, they actually settled another city up north there. All actual competitors have three cities; going to make a valiant attempt at managing ten before anyone else breaks seven. Economy concerns might put the breaks on things before that, though...need to build more workers and get serious about making villages.
Robusto is actually pretty robust.
Crop yield shows the city differential, although MFG shows the effect of my whips. Got gems and ivory, by all rights I should have my cities way taller. Granaries, I know, I know.
Life expectancy, yuck though.

Oh, another thing to improve the economy...

...IC-TRs are probably the best we're getting. You can't open borders with barbarians!

A real barbarian would attack and not consider such things as availability of copper. Between your faulty attack logic and definitively non-black city borders in coming to the conclusion you're no barb state after all. How disappointing!

From now on here, I ask myself:

Not much to update at the moment. Growing steadily, working improved tiles, contemplating actually making a cottage one of these days.
Riverside ivory camps first! 2/2/2 tiles are cottagish, right?

My very very own first border pop, you guys! It's wonderful; everything I ever hoped and dreamed a border pop could and should be.
Whipping myself a settler after granary, yup.
