If we were going to settle on a hill, wouldn't we want to settle on the hill to the SW, since it's adjacent to the river?

I think worries about separating the Warrior and Settler at this point is paranoia. I refuse to believe that we're so close to other teams that we can be eliminated on turn 2. There are not going to be any Barb animals, either.

I'd like to see what's NE since there's more green there, but . . . . I will admit, the Warrior may see further going NW since there seem to be fewer trees? I do think we will want to scout with the Settler, though. We can make up a couple of turns, I think.

Edit: Seems I missed the previous suggestion. Warrior NW, check and see, then move Settler NE if needed.

I wonder how many, if any, teams will decide to settle ON the Silver (assuming identical starts). While that would lose the big commerce bonus, it hooks it up immediately. I'm not advocating that course of action, mind you, but it should still be considered an option (if one of last resort).

I hope our Warrior brings good news.

By the way, what was the naming theme for our cities? Was that decided on?

Naming theme was biblical!

Genesis to start followed by Exodus and so on...

The units, well, i left those up to TT. So probably random cricketers! hehe

Maybe we should name our cities things like Sodom and Gomorrah so we won't feel bad when they're destroyed.

Ah, nevermind. Interesting naming scheme. I wonder what the other teams will do.

To be frank- it's still not great- but hey it's leaps and bounds better than 10mins ago!

I vote we move settler to the same hill.

River bending north is a touch and food in the BFC is always good.
