So maybe the person who looks worst in the whole mass claim discussion is actually Goreripper. It seems like he "blindly" picked a side, and looking back it's hard to say what exactly his thought process was. The leap from "mass claims are lame" to voting for Novice is not clear. It almost feels like he wanted to vote for me but somehow couldn't work up the courage and so settled for Novice instead.

Not necessarily. From the perspective of you being town, I think you pointed out some genuinely scummy things about his posts. But I also get some genuine town vibes from his aggressive defense.

(The reason I'm asking is that last game, Brick made a big deal about how Rowain is "always" on his back. Turned out, though, that was really just the case when Brick is scum. So maybe there is something similar going on here. I do remember two times that Mattimeo was lynched on day one as scum, but I'm not sure how many times it happened when he was town.)
Mattimeo because he seems to see guilt in the fact that I sleep in GMT (and therefore don't post while sleeping). I tend to think those that are guilty prey upon the weak (or, in my case, the new).

@zak
The last game I found him to be town and getting lynched D1 was WW 26 when he was Friar Andrew.

Fucking hell, I can't even have a bit of fun now? :/
I just can't win with you, can I? Don't post shit, you lynch me. Post shit, you lynch me anyway.
In before zak comes in all "well, the way he was against people claiming is clearly suspicious enough for me to move my vote back now that there's support" and I die fucking d1. Again.
That outbreak looks sincere. But Matt understand that I don't want to lose against scum that is cocky and I don't want to lose to scum that does nothing but lurking. So if you are town please don't run around screaming "Hey I'm scum. I dare you to lynch me" .

How many times did you die on day one as town?

Fair point. Was mainly last game I had in mind. Which, to be fair, happened to be justified.
Actually went back and checked, though, and there was one other instance of d1 lynch as scum, and one instance of d1 lynch as town in the anonymous game. Which'd make it 2 from 4 if I'm pushed through today.

Squeaky (mouse/wheel) therefore gets the kick!
eh, was intending to get off you when you actually showed up (no, "can't wait" doesn't count as showing up). Not entirely impressed by an OMGUS vote and no real content, but it's enough for me to be willing to give you a day.
While I'm on the subject of people who really haven't contributed, though, this is the entirety of Goreripper's postings (not sure I really need to spoiler here, there's only three of them and they're all pretty short):

That is cold brother. I mean damn dude. You know I am not going to diss you on the internet because my mother taught me better than that but seriously. Wow. You should be ashamed.

Is lame. Go on now go walk out the door. Mass claim might be good for hunting. But it is lame and sad meta gaming not real werewolf.
Which means I side with Agnes.
So novice.
And dtay (with a single, tiny post, there's absolutely no need for spoilers)

Err, in the name of consistency...Mattimeo
Entirely agreed with the recent run on Goreripper; his novice vote (and the complete dearth of reasoning thereof) is terrible.
But I feel dtay needs to be prodded a bit more right now.
