They can join me on Gazglum, then it just won't be a single vote.
Seriously, Gaz has voted for like 6 different people today. And how many has he stuck with or followed up on to say he sees why he was wrong or that they are still scummy or anything like that. Seems more like he's just flinging around until something sticks.

Quote:Goreripper is quite likely to be a necessary lynch so he's an excellent day 1 lynch.
And yes his claim seems legit - but we should definitely be wary of any claims he makes? This is a comical juxtaposition, but I actually agree with this part. He's probably a survivor, but his other claimed powers are not very credible. And he did dance around the issue, his claim was strung out over three posts where he kept adding details.
Yeah, I agree with Rowain and you on thinking about it (I'd meant his scan-claims), that he would side with village with that powerset.
But the issue is, no matter how useful or not to town, he's not scum. So the evaluation needs to be how likely he is to side with scum later on in the game. And I agree that he's not been covering himself with glory there, but even so.

I agree. Scumwyn has a tendency to disappear with his vote "accidentally" misplaced, which was one reason I pushed for him to move it, as assistance to drunk Townwyn, if you will.

Survivor sounds suspiciously like scum in this description.
If you stretch much farther you'll pull a muscle novice. What was the point of this?
Yes Goreripper is probably the default lynch choice absent any strong lynch candidates (which I don't have), but this post is just bizarre.
Wow, Fenn, if I'm stretching it's only because I am rubber you are glue. That post is bizarre? And voteworthy? Why don't you try voting based on a scummy post next time.
I had noticed that passage from Bob's introduction, that you snipped out, when I first read it. It seemed to describe a scum faction and they were described as survivors. That jumped out at me, and was the first thing I thought of when Goreripper claimed survivor.
(To spell it out I thought maybe Goreripper is scum claiming his real faction name. Although it's more likely just an uncanny coincidence. Not quite as uncanny as that House of Cards commercial, admittedly.)
I have to run.

And as others have said, this wasn't the end of day lynch, but a small lead a few hours in. So I don't really buy it.
I can't tell if I'm explaining things poorly, or you're just deliberately trying to misrepresent me. Where do I talk about those votes being scum based? I specifically said I wanted to re-read them looking for merit. Meaning, hey, did they see something I may have missed, IE is the guy they are reading scum. Do you get it now, or do I have to keep defending my statement all day?

Oh, thought he was voting you instead.
Point. His Zak vote especially seemed like it was overstatingthings and looking where it went. Let's give Gazglum a spin.

Correct novice. Pretending to be drunk is an old move on the Lewwyn scum playbook. Points to Slytherin.

Jabbz reads the same to me as yesterday. Belligerent, making dodgy arguments, omgus vote, but still town. Yes I was a wolf last game, but I was trying to just do my honest town reads on day 2 when i got that impression.

This still gives you a neutral read to me to be honest. Town Rowain really could not empathize with me here. And wolf Rowain really would want to lynch me to not waste shot(s).
Nothing todo with empathy plain simple logic: Alienating town and scum means you will die. Allying with town (if you really have the powers you claim) grants you protection from lynch & might give you protection against NK. And speeds up your win as your scan will get believed.
Your claims and your attitude don't fit together.

Yeah I hadn't got that at all.
Actually, I still don't get it. You said you needed to reconsider whether or not to jump odd in the light of other people voting me. Why would townies picking up on something you'd miss make you want to drop off the wagon?
