Leading for a few hours while I slept, then I responded and the votes drifted off except for people who apparently weren't playing. I didn't feel in danger. Why aren't you claiming? Do you feel in danger?

Gazglum you just conceded that it might be 4/4/4/1 in which case piling onto a claimed townie seems the best play for scum doesn't it?

Besides you realise that in such a setup the town instant-lose if one of the 2 scumteams is wiped out?

I don't get your logic about the insta-lose, and I don't much care if the scum want to pile onto me. I don't know how village is supposed to win, I guess by scum killing each other, which is what I tried and failed to provoke with my ability.

You are obviously scum, nobody is bothering to deny it, including you. There are obviously at least another 6-7 scum in the game, most of whom have lost enough interest in the day phase to stop participating in any meaningful way. Nothing is apparently happening in the night phases. Scumhunting is pointless, and nobody else is doing it, because we can make so many easy cases that it just comes down to picking a lynch target from the all-you-can-eat-buffet. I think you deserve to be lynched from a traditionalists perspective because you were the one who were caught out with your vote yesterday. But I concede that it doesn't really make much difference, as the game will presumably be decided by whatever is going on behind the scenes with night actions.

Lets assume we had 4/4/4 at the start and lets further assume one of those 3 parties is town the other 2 are scum.

With Fenns death it is now 4/3/4.

Now lets assume I'm a fascist and I get lynched today That would lead to 4/2/4. Would you like such a setup as town? Isn't that rather a dreamsetting for the second scum-team?
Now lets assume I'm town lynching me would lead to 4/3/3 which is another very good setting for the second scumteam. Why would a townie want to get that?

Now Gazglum are you sure you are town and have your goals correctly? Or are you in reality a member of the second scumteam perhaps together with Lewwyn? Aiming to get a very favourable position?

Indeed Gazglum I think you made a mistake with your answer here. If you redirect novice to Fenn. novice has no chance to know he was at Fenn. So another point that tells us your claim stinks like a dead fish

I'm having a hard time deciding what the optimal play is here.

Rowain suggesting a particular setup to Novice indicates spoiler knowledge about the size of one faction, and it seems to have struck a chord with Novice, so they are now coming off as scum from competing factions... who have decided to cooperate.

Which doesn't mean that Gazglum is innocent. Still, Rowain.

While I think you might be right, you are clearly not in the game of scum hunting and are probably scum on my radar also.

Finally: I find it funny the same people who gave me crap "hes not playing the game well" earlier on are the ones who have turned full meta about game structure now. Good work people!

Oh puh-lease Novice. I haven't claimed to catch any scum with my powers. You are playing a typical Novice scum game, avoiding interaction with your attackers where possible, working to take out a neutral faction and showing no interest in studying the whole board. Rowain is scum because he is basically admitting to it, and he had no logical explanation for trying to save Fenn yesterday. Agnes is scum because she is doing her wall-of-text posts that are always either in full attack or full defense mode, but she avoids any other scumhunting. Zak is scum because he's bored and scumhunting not at all, putting in the bare minimum for his team. Lewwyn is pretty obviously scum too, for the same reason, plus his refusal to answer Rowain's questions.

You are all playing your typical B+ scum game because you aren't very interested and you know that all you have to do is stay 2nd least scummy and you'll get through. And if its true that you can't nightkill, that would be a pretty good explanation for your lack of interest.

I'm bored of playing a troll game too. I'm out till deadline where I'll probably vote Rowain, because he's basically confessed, or No-Lynch, because Pindicator is the only person today putting his heart and soul into his posts.

I just want to deliver the post, man.
