How many workers do you have?

16, 20 in 2-3t time. Current abundance in the south (about to settle city, but even so), shortage in the north. 4 workers come out in north (thankfully).

Badly formatted, but eh well.
Two projects:
- FoT
- GLH
- FoT
Code: -- Start ~t67 (Rantine at 26xp), copper hooked by this point (prioritise)
--- Copper, settled ~t65, workers hooks instantly. Make happen.
--- 335 hammers, built in capital
---- 24hpt base, 13h in chops, 18h in 3rd ring chops (need to prioritise these if wanted). 7t build base, 6t build with all three chops.
---- GA gives 33hpt base. Doubled by copper for 6t build, 5t with one chop, 3rd ring chops do not speed it up unless combo'd with SoK (one gives 4t, resolve further if this becomes plan)
Therefore, fastest reasonable is 4t for ~t71 output. Slowest is also very reasonable, at 7t for t74 output.
-> Competition for Titan, why rush?
--> Northstar, Kragroth out of the picture. Northstar would likely have moved better units to kill warrior if had it, or flashed at galley. Hence no 26xp unit. Kragroth built Kithra, so probably killing barbs with that, hasn't had time to get 26xp yet.
--> Dreylin seen high-xp unit. Could have reached 26xp ~t58 at absolute minimum by my count. If rushing, has Philo/Warfare t62ish(??). Big competition.
---> How much competition? Won't have copper (too far), will have max +75% modifier = ~200h (191.4). Same caps, same size, assume 24hpt max is the same. Thus 8t build. Chops shave down to 7t build absolute minimum. Further seems unlikely, requires 4-5 chops.
----> Therefore, minimum competitition time is t69, before we can feasibly manage it.
----> Is this realistic? Will he under value it? Expand out of +25% modifier, delay teching it max, not have 26xp unit on t58?
-----> Revise later.
Before this cap is building
ToK - finished eot60
Thane x2 - finished eot62, spread to Cheesethief/Redtooth, spread occurs t63, t64
Thane x2 - finished eot64, spread to Darkclaw/Skulltooth, spread occurs t66 for both - this is non-essential though opens possibilities at Skulltooth. Can be ignored if okay with Skulltooth/Darkclaw outputting no SoK until post-Titan
? SoK x2 - finished eot67, use uncertain - this can be replaced with other priorities if determined
If GA, cap also needs to work Priest or Merchant for 4t before t67, AND one or both during GA (as only source of GP currently)
Revolt to MS possible ~t65, which gives +25% unit production
If revolting, delays potential FT revolt to ~t75, ~3t from max speed there
- Do we even want FT? Especially w/GLH? Prob. not.
Revolt to RoK pre-t63 for SoK production
Second priority is GLH: Code: -- Started t60 in Fangburn, including lighthouse
-- Reqs. 425 hammers, no doubler or modifier
--- hpt is unclear, slowly increasing. Cap of ~20hpt, currently at ~9hpt
--- 52 chop hammers available, cost is ~12 worker turns, especially if improvements not followed
--- 10-14 SoK required
---- 14 gives 420h, impractical
---- 10 gives 300h, leaving 125h for Fangburn.
----- SoK sources are Cheesethief, Redtooth, Skulltooth (?), Red/Cheese start t63/63
------ Cheesethief/Redtooth as main suppliers, can produce 2/3t (~) - or 4/3 for both
------- This gives us 10 == 300h @ 9t after t63 or t72
--- In 9t, Fang. finished Lighthouse, so 335 remaining
---- With chops and growth, easy t72 finish, maybe t73/t74 for travel time
=> N.B. Do SoK get SPI mobility?
---- This means we can spare SoK for cap and still have enough for GLH
-> Competition for GLH, why rush?
--> Non-extant - Northstar not having it for Pearls vis. and pathetic hpt anyway, Dreylin know too much about research for that to be case, Kragroth lolol no.
--> Therefore, no competition so rush is only internal, to get TR up. Therefore, we don't want to finish it until after we have two more islands settled
---> Islands: Cotton one near Dreylin (strategic value), where else?
----> Can't found near Northstar (needs another galley in Fang., or else deportation of Galley 3 - check culture of Inishofben?), W of blob into Kragroth border region is v. far - doesn't matter maintenance for CS, but annoying logistically). So, cow island within city 12 radius (vomit) or eat the logistics and go W for Krag border?
----> Or, delay GLH, wait for Galley 3 to escape/build another?
-----> If delayed, what do we do with Red. instead?
---> With other cities doing other things, settlers need to come out of Skulltooth. Skulltooth gets 2/6t, can start t62. Galley to west doing nothing, can be back to pick up. Galley East also easily returns in that timetable.
----> Galley East picks up settler t69 in city 12. Deposits on location t70, founds t71. Easily adapts if planting cow island as well. Easy-peasy.
----> Galley West can pick up from near Frogblood's t69. 3t travel time, depositing t72. Founds t73.
-----> Workers should be spare to accomodate either setup. Needs much longer for workboats, but locations discussed probably don't need them anyways.
----> Galley North is freed from captivity t70, can be back to pick up t73. Settler finishes t69, ready to jump on t71. Bit of ineffeciency, but not worth new galley or anything complicated. Founds ~t75 Could also sign OB with Northstar (vomit) for some resource - maybe Body mana? Of no use to him, but looks good. Costs to us of course, so best not. Re-examine for potential happy offer? Ale has no cost to us, but also probably not at cap. Re-examine closer.
-----> If OB, no problem, loaded t71, dropped off t72, founds t73.
-----> Worker support slightly more difficult, but manageable with shuffling.
Conclusions?
- GLH no rush, can be determined on later
-> Skulltooth/Darkclaw thanes not needed - will not be creating SoK
-> Skulltooth micro doesn't matter for a while, can determine later dependent on deals signed with Northstar or no
- Determinations re: FoT greatly dependent on assessment of Dreylin
-> What do we optimize for?
--> Do we throw everything behind it for a t71 FoT, with GA, MS, or even moreso with SoK's for cap?
--> Do we go by best non-intensive route, for a ~t74 FoT?
Thoughts, Bob? (Or any other non-spoiled lurkers)
Comments, questions clarifications? I might do a world overview sometime this week, as I don't think I've shown it in the while.
Oh and this map is awesome, DaveV Well done, very well done, especially with the continents-like structure on a 44% water.

Should someone wander into Northstar's thread and tell him it's OK to automate workers if he doesn't want to move them himself? Would still be an improvement.

Well, probably. I mean, the improvements he's chosen to improve aren't in and of themselves horrible - they're all resource tiles, after all, so they're largely good. A few chops that should have been roads/rice or gold improvements, but largely a wash.
It's more that he ought to be automating production so he actually has some to do anything with.
But yeah, I think he could do much better with some (harsh) criticism in his thread. Not that he'd listen to it, of course. His poor performance this game is no doubt the fault of the -1 health on the reliquary, or the vast conspiracy that is RB, or a test of his faith in God.
(I feel like I need to have a tagline beneath this saying: "this is what scientologists Northstar actually believes!")

Ha, I stumbled in here because someone asked if Northstar was somebody's sock puppet. Then I stopped to look at the mess.

Is he, btw? I mean, I'd be enormously surprised, but also even more pissed off that it was all deliberate.
And it is quite, isn't it? You just find your eyes wandering back to that picture as you ask yourself "this can't be...he's not seriously...?" And the longer you look, the more you find - you start to see the details, like the roaded 5th city and marble but none to the south, like the desert settlement over plains hill...
There's a sort of horrific fascination to the disaster of micromanagement.

Not that I can tell but who knows.
But if he is, and it comes out....
And if he isn't, well, sorry for the suspicion.

Pretty sure he's not. IP aside, a quick google search shows that someone who posts in a very similar manner has been around since at least 2013 on various sites.

As for the plans- sounds good, I guess!
I'm kind of disconnected from the facts on the ground, but I'd def. prioritize the Titan, do whatever you can to speed it up. It's a pretty big deal; frees you up to run Arete if you just want one starting promotion on new units, or equals probably 5-10 turns less on each shaman before they hit magedom.
