Well, I had already sent you the save 29 minutes before the first post I quoted, so I don't know what to tell you...

Very odd, since it arrived only a half hour before the second quoted post; which means it took ~2hrs to get from you to me. Hmmmm, I wonder if that is a consistent delay? huh

Been 48hrs and counting...

Edit:

Quote:You don't have to play chase-the-save with me: in fact more often than not when I come to reply here it's because I've already found the time to play later that day, and just wanted to make sure you guys were ready to receive the save soon. If anything, your posts on here actually *delay* receiving the save by at least a few minutes (or sometimes more, when something comes up before I can send on the turn, and I would have had time if I hadn't spent a couple minutes replying here...)

Well if you're currently playing the save, obviously don't stop to post. But otherwise, if you're going to be delayed past ~12hrs of having it, you should post irrespective of whether or not we post asking where it is - it's simply common courtesy. I know, for example, that Dreylin sometimes waits up to see whether or not he'll be getting a save from you - it's fine to have a RL, but it's important that we know what to expect. With your erratic play schedule, I've no idea whether or not a turn is going to come by each day.

There's a decent chance I can't play tonight, but please don't let that stop anyone trying to get the turn to me as I can play early tomorrow instead.

Missed the save in my inbox- I thought it still hadn't arrived yet.

The past couple days have been... busy. For instance something involving the police today I'd rather not say more about, other than that I was the victim of a minor crime.

Will send the save out later tonight. However Dreylin might be right- there might be a consistent delay between my sending saves by e-mail and them actually arriving on his end. No idea why...

To test that, you could try posting immediately after you send the save each time.

Thanks.

I'll do so for the next couple saves... Can't keep that up forever, but that should be enough to increase the sample-size a bit... (we've already confirmed there was a 2-hour delay at least once)
