(OOC - pindi didn't look at time stamps either). But still, was it a joke or wasn't it? Two and a half hours later it was still a joke and then some time later it wasn't. Or was it merely ... Actually I'll let you respond before offering possible answers.

The role play reasons were obviously a joke all along. The serious reason was also there in the back of my mind all along, but I didn't feel a need to articulate it before you asked me about it specifically.

The second post on the topic, (Sherlock Holmes already made a case...) was addressed to Meiz, because he came across as slightly laissez-faire and said one of the detectives would probably come up with something. I was trying to probe him a little to see if he was interested in actually using his vote to pressure anyone.

Ohh-kayyy. That's close to what I was thinking, that maybe it started as a joke but then something came along that made you think it could be worth chasing. But it's the After The Fact that gets my attention. The Change in Intent.

Jowy, I have been known to write a POEM or two. But not like yours.

If you're just restricted to poetry in general, haikus may be a way to ease the pain. (Or free verse, I guess.)

One can spend an hour thinking a rhyme
Sadly for us it limits the work done
So better to rush to save some time
Than be left with a post count of one

It is my choice when and if
Might be best to make it less
Elsewise our team might jump off a cliff
Sacrifice some fun in face of progress

Molach your ability seems ridiculous. Immune to everything, all the time ? At most it's a 1 time thing, else your team can't lose.

Pindicator, there was really no Change of Intent. Maybe the idea of pressuring him grew a little on me as I noticed that people chose to place their votes elsewhere, but my only intent was to make sure that he felt the need to post something. In the meantime, you asked for my real reason, so I answered.

I will process his claim now. (No, I am not claiming Insurance Agent.)
If you know what I mean.

You probably want to know what happened and why I have been missing and all that sort of I'm sorry for being away and all that crap, but I don't feel like going into it, if you want to know the truth.

Faced with the barbarism of book burnings, my preference would be for a speedy evacuation of this shelf. However, since we are apparently bound in place by The Owner, then a spate of quick lynchings should offer swift resolution to our dilemma.

Holden Caulfield is a disaffected youth with an impudent air. Hurl him into the stocks, and be done.

This is really what I'm talking about, you know? This guy comes and votes like he knows what he's talking about and all that and like he's the real hot-shot here. I may be like one of the most stupid guys around, but I'm certain that I know more than this guy, though I don't need to act like I know all this stuff, just to look like I'm not stupid.

Seriously, this kind of people pisses me off. Really.

(April 13th, 2015, 08:11)AdrienIer Wrote: I think some analytical thinking is needed here. What information do we have ? Lewwyn is someone's neighbor, and Rowain thinking that Shadeun deserves a scum point for "feeling lonely", which is very slim. Therefore nothing that can help us catch the culprits.

But we have one last information, that was always present : we know who we are. Which characters are most likely to be evil schemers. We can try to work out who which character was most likely to be picked by BRick as part of that evil group.

I really don't mind when a guy just go out with his thoughts of what he likes and all, if he has his heart in what he's talking about, then it's alright, even if it's besides the point he was trying to make in the first place. But this sort of argument is phony as hell and I think you only want to appear like you are hunting the scum, but you don't really care deep down. So, yeah, I really don't like this Adrien guy.

He claims to be a neighbor- a painless and simple task for any scum- and gains village credit while confirming or disproving for the existence of other pairs. For the disproving of a thing can be as valuable as the awareness of it. And do not think that I have concluded that he is *not* a neighbor, Piter, for he surely is. But why would a scum neighbor not hasten to claim first? There would be no advantage in such a decision. No profit. No, better to reveal before his partner, to claim the greater share of the reward. There is no risk. Most cunning. I sense the hand of a Mentat in it.

I like this guy Bob, he knows what he's talking about. He can see when a guy is just trying to look better than he actually is, to impress his boss, his teacher, a girl or the damned village, like he's a damned hot-shot. I can't stand those guys either. Lewwyn

The forged ones have no scent. They steal the clothes and the food from the living. Emotionless they survive. Even the children, such as Caufield, saying nothing as they rip their mothers throats. It is duty them binds me to their destruction. I take no pleasure in it.

OOC - I think a bit of roleplay is fun, but its still a werewolf game. If its not clear, I'm in favor of getting the silent ones to talk right now. We have 24 hours yet, correct?

I swear to god, really, and sorry Moses if I don't know much about this religion stuff and all and God and Jesus and all, but I know that everytime Lewwyn votes me early, he's scum. I swear. And he'll stay there for like always until he wins because everyone is too stupid to realize this shit and I'm too much of a lousy coward to push for him.

And stop beating about the bush here, I can see Zak trying to bushwhack me here with that faux-fun vote, but I am prepared to bring as peace offering a few bushels of paragraphs.

First paragraph: I find this using character name instead of player name makes this a lot harder to follow. So this is quite obviously a wolf ploy, to confuse honest players, steering them away from the hunt by making them remember tons of names. Novice posted a list of players' influence (that is player name) and then voted for a character name. "Having too many influential players lurking in the shadows won't do. George Smiley." So yeah, who is that again? What is George Smiley's lurking history like?

Second paragraph: Influence is a thing here, influential wolves are more dangerous and influential villagers need to stay sharp and break ties the right way. Be good to know for sure how trustworthy they are. Hear that, investigative PRs? Check out influential guys. First player-post in the game (Mol.3.1) talked about influence, then it was unheard of till novice's post (nov.78.4).

Third paragraph: Always fun when people keep making joke votes one day in... like Jowy here on Bob. You a scum trying to do the normal thing, lay a joke vote to fit in? Joke votes only first 16 hours, everyone knows this.

Fourth paragraph: Somewhat inspired by looking at that baron Harkonnen I decided to watch Dune (1984) last night, instead of rereading all the joke votes of last night. Post-movie, checking out "trivia" on imdb I read "The movie alludes strongly to Bible stories; such as, most strongly, the story of Moses." So there, baron Bob.

Fifth paragraph: I'll now reveal my power. I am immune. Immune to lynching, immune to nightkills. Generally immune. For what GM would be responsible for burning the Book frem whence my character came?

I like this guy, he's totally on spot with his role!

But, really, you guys bore me already with all that same old, same old scumhunting bullshit of day 1, going all out on stupid lurker posting and what not. How about lynching lurkers on day 3/4, midgame, not on day 1 or last day of the game, like we always do to lose like dumb bastards. I'm not that smart, but at least I'm smart enough to know this.

So that gives us the option of lynching Molach as a pseudo no lynch giving us scum or an unlynchable confirmed non-schemer. One-time lynch immune Serial killer would still be a remote option I guess, but a schemer would never be lynch immune.

Dirk Gently is intrigued at this opportunity to investigate the afterlife. Moses, what is your view on the matter?
I have to run.

You sure are defending a lot. Everyone heard it already, you don't need to repeat like 10 times like if everyone cared.

And all this village that went all brave lurker hunting on me certainly are afraid of voting for Krill, that is indeed lurking the hell out of this thread, but on the bad type of lurking.

And seriously, I bet like a hundred bucks, a thousand really, that Jowy's post restriction is phony.
