We can at least focus the randomness towards people who have demonstrated a lack of interest in the general progress of the game with egregious lurking. Better than going full random and hitting someone who'd help substantially in later deduction

Here's the sum total of anything of remote use, for those interested:

Talking robot gets slight town points for trying to get things moving. Put a mental vote from me for Väinämöinen until the old man wakes up.

It's not that he got things moving, but he made the effort. I agree same goes for Lewwyn as well.

Don't think Molachs or novices votes on Adrien are too concrete, so I'd like them to explain the suspicion in more detail.

While I agree that the votes on Adrien are a bit iffy, this is basically two minor town leads from 40 hours of play.
No votes, not even actually placing that pressure vote he threatened on Jowy.

Lurking hard while keeping his post count up contributing nothing.

100% agreed on the first part, and mostly so on the second. If only because 'so dumb that I can't believe scum would do it' is an interesting strategy that has won games in the past.

Whether it is an excuse or not, I think Krill comes at these games from a different mentality, one from different forums where yes in fact no one talks they only vote the first day. It's very common. He's been critical I'm the past of RBmeta. As a result I don't think you will get much out of him until day 2. Which is why I said that earlier we'd need to wait to day 2. Right now I'd say suspicious by RB standards, null tell by Krill standards.

Adrien is probably mislynch material right there. It's easy to see he'll escalate soon to the top of the list. He has a very unique way of playing, so it's easy to see scuminess in it...

I'm just pointing out that he's very easy to lynch, because his play is very different. And usually when I see a "this guy is an easy lynch" train on day 1, it ends up badly.

I find those statements and Lewwyn agreeing with it strange. Adrien survived till the last day in WW 36 and got nightkilled in 35. So I fail to see how he has suddenly the title of easy mislynch.

I agree with the idea that I think Adrien is being set up as a mislynch based on arguments against him who u I don't agree with. I was thinking in terms of adrien always being an easy mislynch, just boo ing my support that I don't think Adrien should be the lynch for today when the wagon started to roll.

Ichabod is back and his roleplay is amazing. Congratulations sir. I also get a pretty good town lean there.

Krill is staying at the shallow end of the paddling pool, but this is your first werewolf game, is that right, Krill?

In case it was lost amidst the Cugel blather, I didn't like Adrien and Jowy suggesting we lynch the most evil characters. Aside from whatever the rules said (I never really read them properly either), it just seems self-evident that Brick wouldn't build the game like that. Voting on those grounds is a way to make a meaningless vote that can then be retracted later with 'oh, i misunderstood', and tehre you go, you've avoided commenting half the day. Adrien didn't actually follow through with a vote though, so I guess Jowy gets a drop more scum lean from me here.

I'll reread Meiz and Molach now.

Goreripper and Ichabod are totally killing it in the roleplay, and everyone else is doing a great job too. This game is wonderful .

I agree that Krill needs to start playing.

I was not saying he should start playing, I'm just pointing all that all the lurker vote crusaders were only going for the looks, rather than the real thing. So they were just talking for the sake of it, just to show off, and being false and that's really bad. if they really mean it, they'd at least put a little more effort in it...

Fenn is still just placing one pressure vote after the other, in similar fashion to his last game.

Will keep my vote on Jowy for now for want of any better ideas. Though I think the fact that he and Ichabod haven't made even a joke posts indicates they simply haven't been on.

And once Jowy had posted some poems, he apparently felt obliged to vote for someone else.

If what he claims is true, we clearly need to keep Jowy alive until the entire thread is posting in poetry.
For now, Ichabod might want to speak up? I confess I'm at a loss as to where to head on D1 (or more lost than usual!).

This is kind of weak in my mind. Seems like he's just blindly moving off Jowy without even attempting to read him.

Why, in your own words Mattimeo do you not deserve to have the same pressure applied to you? You have 3 posts so far, the least of anyone (though admittedly quality was good, as usual). There is an unsual lack of pressure being applied to you by some (Lewwyn). I suppose you haven't had any votes for you so far (that I can see) but the lack of need to defend yourself isn't exactly a reason to disengage!

Additionally, dont believe in Molach/Moses immune claim - would be weird. Scummy.
Jowy & Ichibod did little but respond to their initial pressure late (which i suppose is what you do) and then Jowy diverting with discussions on post restrictions.

Again, I'm happy to switch and would like more discussion!

I read Meiz's posts and didn't see much but will take a fresh view near lunch.

Incidentally, the neighbour pair in that game was town/SK.

He did explicitly say that he was 'joking' in his next post. Not disagreeing with your take from the debacle, though.
