Grignr sat in dankened darkness. The cruel local ruler Bossman threw him into this prison pit called The Airline Hell for terrible tortures called Emergency Support Trips. Grignr flexes his mighty arms and chest and tries to contribute to the cause but he is forced to rely on choppy impressions gleaned from brief gleams of Wifi's Light.

I'll go with Ichabod on Mattimeo for now. He thinks my joke is bad, thats, okay, I guess, sort of, maybe, but why did it make me scum?

It's D1. We have no actual information. I'm honestly not expecting to be able to land scum (though the last few games might force me to rethink that liklihood).
The point of my D1 vote is generally to make the game better. Either by removing unrepentant lurkers who show no signs of contributing further in the coming days, or killing off people who think that lying about rather important information is a 'joke' (and are thus showing the propensity to do so later, when it really can cost us the game).

That leaves you in one of two categories:
a) Scum going for an audacious plan, that backfired and had to be recanted
b) lying town who should be lynched asap so you cannot sabotage us later

Shadeun is objectively scummy but also seems to be flying solo. Serial killer, perhaps, would fit with his Tyler Durden character.

The third person to try to put forward the idea that characters are tied to alignment; the third to immediately recant when called on it.
The others could have been inexperience, or lack of comprehension, but this one came well after the other instances had been corrected.
It's only a 'brain fart' when someone calls you on your deliberate frame-job, rather than running with it.

First days with no private posting in any mafia game involve lynching a random person and going from there. So do it.

We can at least focus the randomness towards people who have demonstrated a lack of interest in the general progress of the game with egregious lurking. Better than going full random and hitting someone who'd help substantially in later deduction

Noone except Lewwyn have offered any comment on Krill. It's as if he doesn't exist at all.

He's given a reason for not engaging D1 that I don't actually disagree with; you do get information from who the scum choose to kill N1, and with role madness there are other possible vectors to gain solid data overnight.

Mattimeo, you never answered Zak's question about these seemingly contradictory statements.

I'm honestly not seeing how either you or zak is casting them as contradictory.

Krill was stating D1 to be completely random; I countered with it's better to lynch those who are demonstrating a lack of interest in the game as a whole.
Stating "I will show up tomorrow and contribute then, because D1 is junk" is really, really not demonstrating a lack of interest in the game as a whole, given, you know, the fact that D1 is generally mostly junk. Junk that we can refer back to in the future, sure, but how often do we refer back to anything more than voting patterns, once we're well into the game proper?

On the other hand, he hasn't shown up yet today, which does cast some doubt on his claim of actual participation in the future. So, Krill.

Bad Book:

I look for a motivation when people cast their votes, and there is clear motivation for town-Shadeun. Gaz was not clearly scum by any means. So I'm not going to clear him based of this, but I am going to give him the benefit of doubt. In general I don't find his play scummy so far.

One thing that doesn't make sense in Novice as phony: why not vote Molach, when he voted Fenn, considering the Gaz push that was happening? Yeah, yeah, Molach could also be scum, but I really doubt it. In that light, Novice's switch doesn't make sense as a phony.

Because he believed in the influencing powers of the brothers, and did not wan't to make his Gaz saving vote too obvious? A very tiny read from you to clear him.

The Mattimeo wench is a clear citizen of the country of Obvtown. The rodent, the knife named, or the seafood look finer to my sight!

It's funny. All you have to do is say something nobody understands and they'll do practically anything you want them to. That's what's happening here. These sharp one liners, RP be damned, are very bad and don't say anything, really. "Look at how much I'm saying!". Yeah, nice going, man, really a bunch of help to the village other than trying to appear that you talk big.

To be perfectly honest, this post actually makes me doubt my suspicious on Mattimeo. It really does.

Disagreed once again. I usually find Goreripper scummy, but his play so far is quite towny, which is amazing concidering he keeps up the RP (wich is hilarious btw )

Novice did provide content today, but I wan't to see his true detective powers and clearly argue for his #1 lynch for today.

I'm reading Zakalwe as town once again due to his tone, activity details and attention for details. It worked fine the last game we played, and I don't see why that read would have changed. I think his scum game is clearly different.

Top suspects for me today are novice & Jowy. Jowy hasn't done anything so far to convince me of his innocence, and I usually find him an easy read. Sure he does poetry, but there's more to that. Ichabod as the deep cover wolf obviously. I'd want to add Bob here as well, but I've mislynched him too many times, so willing to see his play some more.

Disagree. Don't have time to get into it right now, but for one I think he's had activity, but more of a hit run type of activity. The tone is shifting between aggressive and passive on my reading.
