[Lurkers]WW 38: Judging a Player by his Cover

In this case it was obvious that Jowy would get lynched today so I would just modkill Jowy if I were the mod without saying anything; even if Jowy's team wasn't eliminated by Jowy's death.

At least I died happy. I am sad I didn't get to play on though. Why kill me? lol I would have killed any number of other stronger PRs.

Sorry if you don't like the neighbor thread posting Qg. I thought it was fine because we have so much precedent for it. We allowed it in so many other past games I didn't even think about it.

Yeah I think Day 2 was handled fine. I think it was very clear Jowy was going to be lynched at the end of the day so simply ending the day was good for everyone.

This game was so much fun I think because, yeah RP, but also I think most everyone was really into it. I dropped my RP after the first day, but I carried the tone of my RP as best I could to that point.

Village played great. I think part of Day 1 was luck in that we settled on Gaz at the very end of the day and it was fairly obvious none of the Gaz voters were schemers. Goreripper made a great call to scan Matt who was suspected, and got lucky for a second daykill. Also somehow no N1 kill which was good. I also won't discount that scum seemed a bit easier to spot, but I think that's a result of so many villagers playing like villagers and process of elimination made it easier.

If I were alive I'd call for a Bob, shadeun or Ichabod/Meiz lynch. Something is up with Meiz/Ichabod. I said adrien to matt earlier in QT, but I think that's a no go. Adrien has to be town with redirector power. Even so I would lynch Shadeun first today I think.

Oh that's why I'm dead isn't it. It's Shadeun and he knows I would vote for him.

On your side it's definitely alright, Lewwyn. It's a modding decision, and whilst one I personally disagree with, it's an optional path to go down, even if I disagree with it. It is nothing to do with the players, though, and your posting it was (almost) definitely the right decision from your POV.

Unless the RB WW meta changed while I wasn't looking, "kill the lurkers" has never been a priority. Quite the opposite actually, as every game with sunrise ever attests.

I have two abilities. One of them is a day ability. No neighbors.

So Bob went from this to having two day-time abilities? And the "suggest a target" ability seems very silly in town hands. And he was kill-blocked by Molach on night 1. I would be pushing Bob at the moment.

He can't have killed Lewwyn if Molach is truthful, though. So maybe someone else did that.

I'm having trouble following the claims here.

Meiz says he watched Lewwyn and got no result. Someone else says they switched Pindicator and Lewwyn. Someone else said they jailed Pindi, is that right? Doesn't that mean that of course Meiz's ability didn't work, because it ended up targetting Pindicator in jail instead? Doesn't jailing block abilities against you? But Meiz and Pindi seem to think something more nefarious is at play.

I think jailing normally blocks incoming kills and outgoing actions. I'd expect that watching someone who is jailed should work normally.

Edit: that's just my intuition though; it could be off.
