Coming of age? Just giving HAK some space?
[spoilers] Commodore and Dtay are Sitting Bull of Inca, somehow.

"Doing it wrong" and "PBEM 64" are kind of synonymous, Quince.

Sweet holy Vishnu, you guys, Joey might be on tilt again. That's two pages added to his thread from last night. Which on the one hand might mean some good entertainment but on the other hand means instability on the Latest Frontier. If in four turns we slingshot Currency I fully expect a weepy meltdown. Good news is we're beginning infiltration of his home continent! I still expect Gavagai to be the real rival for the crown but that's a long way from now. Nothing to do but keep on pluggin', next choice being Deadman where the dot is or one south for another mine. I think unless the axe finds another site disrupted by the current dot, we're keeping it on the hill.
Score shows how cream rises to the top; India and the contenders are the top half, what a surprise! Most cities are just in growth mode, but little refusing-to-spread-worth-a-damn holy city Triplet is about to cap off to its pre-CS size. That rice tile is about to go back to the capital and Cobra as they ascend to their rightful sizes of 17 and 15, respectively. Meanwhile, Trip here will work a dry green capital cottage (once built), the gold, cow, horse, and two grass hill mines. 15hpt ain't exactly what you'd call great but it'll build plenty of useful things and churn out missionaries at an acceptable pace whenever OR sounds like a good enough idea. Definitely a good example of the snowball-booster, though...Triplet ain't what you'd call amazing. Hum. Unless we'd rather pop it up to size 13 and chip in a windmill plus seven cottages? Have to figure out the ROI there, but a third cottage city wouldn't entirely go amiss when the current plan calls for “two cottage cities and learning to love coast”. Might be a decent heroic epic city, even if ideally a levee site would be preferred. (April 29th, 2015, 17:24)Ceiliazul Wrote: Coming of age? That city needs a lot of culture or Hungry gone/captured to work, or at least Spinneret and Cobra grown to max size so it can steal food. No point in it otherwise.

So then chop that southern buffer, right?
It was all a ruse, I want to see early bulbed math put to best use by making workers grow on trees. Or settlers. That works too.
You might trade maps with donovan again, see where Gav is pushing expansion. Their continent (unlike yours) has interior "contested" lands remaining. Lots of jungle sure, but hopefully that big hole in the color splats will draw gav's attention away from his "safe" rear. Best to not even meet gav until the new lands are established, if possible.
If youre going to trade maps, do it soon, before you scout more or settle a city...
Yes. Yes I means s/gav/Elkad, whom Comm has already met, but the map trade thing with donovan still works.
Yeah, it's confusing. Gavagai is Carthage orange, while Elkad, upon whom we are encroaching, is Dutch orange.
