"I have a catapult. Ho ho ho." sounds good to me
There's a Civ5 message on the lines of "you settled the land which is rightfully mine", I think it would be fine too
"My words are backed with nuclear weapons." I'm glad we're having fun with this. I'm fine with a "I have a X. Ho ho ho" message. I guess I don't have a problem with a "don't settle close" message, either, except that I don't think it'll have a meaningful impact beyond letting the other player know you're a bit salty.
I'm just doing my best out here.
"We demand you cancel your deals with the treacherous _____!"
Though that's close to the same thing as closing borders.... (June 20th, 2015, 11:34)Fenn Wrote: "We demand you cancel your deals with the treacherous _____!" By all means if you want to get colorful with your requests, go for it. I think that adds to it. Declare war on X = "The Mighty Cartheginians are a threat to us all. Perhaps you would care to join us for a tea party on the ruins of their capital?" (June 18th, 2015, 10:03)Grimace Wrote:(June 17th, 2015, 13:38)Jowy Wrote: Tempted to play, PB9 was my favorite. Just dunno if I'll have time when school starts next fall. Okay, I should always have at least 15 minutes to spend. I'll play.
I'm sure the game won't have a ton of lurker activity since it won't be a big-name event, but hopefully we'll have at least a couple who can help rank as all at the end of the game by whoever put in the least amount of effort. :P

So right now we have 8 solids and a question mark next to Adrian & Mardoc. Do you guys want to team? Because of time constraints I'm not sure either one of you would want to commit alone...or is there anyone else who wants to take the last slot?
Once we have the final player, we can get started with the snake pick and starts since the map is ready. |
