yes ... you can have either SEE_INVISIBLE_LAND or SEE_INVISIBLE_ANIMAL, but not both.
to have both ... I'm not sure what you would need to do ... ???

I really like our chances of grabbing Guild of Hammers: none of the AIs has Engineering yet.
I spent a lot of turns moving units into position, finally declared on 236 and easily captured Glencar Lough. I kept this one, because I wanted to maintain our connection to gold. I also used a Zealot to pop the borders and end revolt. Lots of lairs were popped, including one offshore of Dis, by a Mobius Witch who picked up Crazed in the process. Of note: I took the third choice, in keeping with our theme. Over in Beeri's lands: I went for the epic result, of course, and: You're welcome, Beeri! I razed a couple more cities, and resettled one. I expected Einion to use his worldspell before this, and I'm caught short in settlers and workers. Sorry, team. While I'm apologizing, I promoted our Air I witch to Death II instead of Air II. So we're limping along with only one Maelstrom witch on the Elohim front. Here's the garrison at Cafes, which we're positioned to attack next turn: Note that we have a substantial amount of beakers at 0% slider, probably because of all the specialists we've grown into. I hardly did any whipping on my set. We're still not doing too badly on foreign relations: But Varn is starting to sign defensive pacts and recruit vassals: Foreign trade is still a substantial portion of our economy: Cities: Military: Notes: I'm building windmills instead of mines, because I think the food is more valuable than the hammer. And I expect we'll want to research Machinery at some point to grab the Engineer (to be used for the Nexus, maybe?).
I don't think we came to an agreement, which means stick with the status quo of allowed. Maybe revisit the subject after everyone's had a chance to play with them.
Although I do have to admit, I can't object too much to Jalepeno's argument: (July 25th, 2015, 20:54)jalepeno Wrote: , well, there's always more games out there. I've enjoyed playing with you guys - if you want to move straight into another SG once we wrap up this one, I'm game. I think the second-most popular variants were Illians or Elohim thematically?

I've played some turns. Elohim is going down pretty fast.

It's been fun and enjoyable so far, not to mention the amazing pace too! I'll play the turns soonish (~1-2 hours) - I'm still trying to put myself together from a loss on T8 in PBEM44 . Report:
Razed most of Elohim's core, then I met this guy: His score is pretty high, almost on par with us! He'll definitely be the one to beat (hope it won't be too easy). He's the only one who can match our power, that's pretty good for the AI considering our soldier count is around 1,3 million. I wonder if I had left Culture victory open... Bannor seems to be culture bombing for real! Anyway, down goes Elohim. They didn't even use their WS . I razed all of their cities and re-settled our own to replace the emepty land. There are still few settlers on their way. We're going to see the first Barbarian Horseman pretty soon. Our military at the moment, got bunch of new witches and other units as well during my set: Maybe take Ljos/Lanun out next to clear the north, then Calabim who has tons of Vampires and caravels according to quick scouting - only if they just knew how to use naval attacks with Body mana and use raiders properly, damn... They could raze many of our weakly protected cities. Here's the save for Jale! https://www.dropbox.com/s/pehbu4lznilidg...dSave?dl=0 Quick summary: - Elohim dead, find a new target - Bannor our biggest threat longterm - IW about 1-2 turns away from complete - Spectres are just so powerful when you can summon 20 of them every turn
Elohim generally use their WS when they are declared upon by two civs. There's a bit more AI mumbo-jumbo to it than that, but that's the general rule.

Nice set, Aurorarcher. It looks as though you made up for my lack of worker builds.
If we declare on Hannah, we declare on Varn as well. Not that it matters much at this point. As far as I'm concerned, Q is welcome to join our next game. Tasunke, too, if he'll follow the rules. Personal note: I'll be on the road late from Thursday through the weekend, and will have to pass my turn if it comes around to me during that time. |
