Joey made me another offer. Made no screenshot but he asked me for all my cities. I would really want to know what exactly made him displeased. If all of that ends up in another war declaration from him, I would feel really stupid...

Perhaps they are coded messages?

Like: The aarwarks are in the compost again -> Send more paramedics

or

I can fit a crate of oranges in my mouth -> trade me 5 sheep, 2 weat and an iron or I will burn down a 1 tile island?

Try to look for letter combinations in the cities he wants to trade. He is too clever to just use starting letters and judging from his playstyle, I guess the code will be tricky to crack. Maybe assing numbers to the letters, but change the numbering from cityname to cityname, then add them all together and divide by his total pop/mfg and you get the turn he will nuke the world? From there you just need to launch 11 turns before that and the game will be yours.

So... my peace treaty with Joey expires next turn. What the Big Orange Randomman has for me in his bag? That's a million dollar question!
I wonder if Joey realizes that he can kill my space race effort just by declaring war and doing nothing: I still have a lot of WW accumulated from our last war, I don't have any means to combat it and many of my cities are close to happy cap...

In other news: Plako completed his third Thruster which puts him into a symbolic Space Race lead. However, it really matters even less than my scoreboard lead, Plako isn't really in the running. Also, TBS completed a Thrister which is actually a good thing: it means that his Space Race isn't ideally optimized as I was afraid.

Also, it appears that I will be able to finish Composites in two turns rather than three which improves my schedule to T302. However, TBS was able to finish Composites faster too and that also makes his schedule improved. Also, accelerating tech rate even further will be useless for me as I will run into a hammers bottleneck: the city which is earmarked for Life Support will complete Engine by T298 and no other city can complete Life Support in four turns except the one which will be producing Stasis Chamber at that point.

Also... I think I bitched about this before but it very well worth repeating: WHAT THE FUCKING HELL IS ALL THIS 2METRABUISNESS? In particular, why Joey is at war with him right now? Why was he ever at war with him? Joey gains nothing from this war he is just razing stuff. And he is doing this instead of participating in Space Race. Seriously, I've said a lot about Joey's treatment of me being unjust and irrational but when you think of it, what he is doing with 2metra is actually ten times worse. Why can't he just leave the poor guy alone? I'm really looking forward to reading his spoiler thread after the game, it will be a whole new universe to me.

New turn and Joey has already played. Curious what he did. Most likely nothing happened as Joey didn't look like preparing for an attack. But I'm still nervous because Captain Random. I spread out my main stack to make my units bad ICBM target and put my fleet in a position for a devastating counter strike to deter him from stupidity. That's all pretty useless though, as I suspect that even one war turn would be enough to kill my space race effort - irrespective of what happens on the frontlines. Still, have to be professional.

In other news - started to move forward "Sunrise" group. It's seven Submarines loaded with Missiles (21 total) and two carriers with three more catching up. Pretty pathetic but that was all I was able to gather quickly and I ran out of time. It's a shame that I initially cancelled all preparations and decided to go for a lighter (air only) plan only a few turns later. By my new estimate TBS will launch on T300 and this group will arrive at T298 - already almost too late to matter. The plan is to kill mines/workshops around his Iron Works city and try to delay launch for a few turns.
Also, I'm curious: what would happen if we launch simultaneously? Am I correct that the game will decide the winner randomly when spaceships arrive? And what would we do? Accept the random result? Declare a draw?
