Yeah we were in a settler race and he didn't have anything to defend his spot so you could say we had a choice between attacking and risking this situation or eating it and taking a worse spot. I guess. In any case it wasn't Miguelito's fault I made the final decision to go.

In the west after the phalanxe in Thales we're 1 turning a longbow (thanks to a chop) and the cap will build a lighthouse after the chariot, to start using coast tiles.

Apart from the tile SW of Thu (2 vultures and a spear) all units are vultures. I don't think he can take my copper tile now, barring some ungodly luck.

Most worrying things : I have close to no units in the east (a phalanxe in Euclid and soon the other will stand in Archimedes due to an incoming impi, none in posidonius).
Retep is destroying everyone in crop yield and can probably expand to his east easily due to Grimace not competing for that land.

Nicest things : I'm pretty confident about holding Thu.
FEUDALISM !
War elephants could be fun if I decide for early construction.

Oh I forgot about the hammers on a phalanx in Arch, the thing is this city doesn't grow quickly so I don't want to whip it. Perhaps I should have farmed one of the FPs to counter that.

Sailing was teched this turn but I don't know if I want a galley right away. In a perfect world (without the Grimace stuff) I'd have built one or two settlers already and would begin a galley next turn in Pyth. But in this reality, there are other priorities.
