I'm leaving town for a few days tomorrow morning, but should be able to play assuming normal wifi/internet in the hinterlands of St. Louis. I may play later in the timer than usual due to being busy, so thanks for your patience. I will be back to normal on Tuesday.

I have been asked to embark upon a most unpleasant work-related trip next week. I will be going to......Detroit.

I'll have my work laptop (which has Civ on it) so I will be able to play, but instead of the normal flexibility I enjoy for my play window it will be occurring in the evenings US/Central starting on Monday and going through Friday (assuming I get to play on Friday...my flight arrives back home quite late). Anyway, I shouldn't need any pauses except maybe for Friday, but wanted everyone to know.

Just a heads up, I might have to drop out if my computer dies. Yesterday it completely froze and I had to hard reset, then it wouldn't do anything after start up. I changed the CMOS battery and it worked on the first try. But today I had to try start it about twenty times before it gave some beeps, then a few more times for it to actually start up properly. I take that as a pretty bad sign on it's condition.

In other news I can't play yet because someone needs to play before me and they haven't. A pause would be appreciated since only 3 hours left in the clock.

Not yet. I want to see how the situation develops first. If the computer can hold for a few more months (even if hard to start) then I should have money for replacement parts or a new build and won't have to rep out.

Aaaand it's dead. Froze again and won't boot up. I don't think this is gonna work.

I'll try my school laptop tomorrow. Although it doesn't have a disc drive and I have the disc version of Civ.
