If Jabbz is a SK, who, if anyone, do you think the last scum is, Zak?

I'm not sure, but AdrienIer has been slipping a lot lately. Swinging from thinking everybody is town except me to being convinced it's Marcus, then quickly voting correctly in my showdown with Jabbz on the grounds that Medusa is technically a goddess. And he's becoming more pro-torture with time instead of less, which is odd.

Are you deliberately misquoting me ? I said everyone felt good except you but that I would reread, on reread I thought Marcus looked bad then you and Jabbz had your little showdown where I had to choose. And yes torture is more efficient now, at the beginning of the day the possible torture targets were you, Marcus and myself with an overall 1/3 chance of catching scum (1/2 for the two townies), and 2/3 of clearing someone (and having at least a 1/2 chance tomorrow). Of course this whole Jabbz thing is messing with the calculations.

Let's do it this way : if we're at lylo with novice and two others would you be against torturing ?

To be fair, the only even half ass decent reason to see me as town is that I haven't done anything overly scummy.

If you're a scan-immune SK, you want to be slightly scummy, and eventually scanned. You don't want to go "Scan me! Scan me!" because that just gets you lynched, as demonstrated by Mattimeo. Being opposed to torture also seems like a good way to bait people into torturing you.

I reread my PMs and noticed a few things:

Win-Condition: You win if no Gods are left.

My role PM also tells me that torturing will tell me whether someone is a god or a hero, as exhaustive options.

So this (the win condition in particular) doesn't seem to imply a serial killer. I.e. if Jabbz is evil he should be a God, and Medusa isn't a God, but a monster.

Also, my role PM adds that torturing someone will have positive and negative effects, and that I should check the game thread for details. So a positive effect is mentioned in addition to the scan result as such. Read into it what you will.

If our torturing indeed hit a god and the hero who would get positive effects from it we're definitely the luckiest heroes in history.

You mean for example, me, Novice and one more player? Torture would be pointless as it would just be word against word in any case. Not really sure what you are getting at. But I think the penalties ramp up so that torture could eventually be bad, even if we hit scum. I thought the first two attempts were worth the risk, though.

Well, if there's no SK, then Jabbz must be a god (Zeus) who has taken the form of Medusa. He'll probably be around shortly to explain why that makes no thematic sense, though...

I really don't think Serdoa would tell me that I was visited by Medusa because Perseus held her severed head in my direction.

Everyone here feels town to me except Zak. If not for his last vote on the BRick torture he'd be a perfect target. I'll be rereading again.

That's not saying I think they're all town, just that I got a town feel from them (not a big one but you couldn't have known that). I'm not the kind of person that vote based on a feel when we're approaching lylo.

Why did you ask this question Zak. Why didn't you make the observation that "Jabbz visited me." Why ask the one person with a vote associated power whether or not he had additional powers? There is no other context for asking this question, especially not of MJW. Had he visited you, with your supposed power, you would have known.

At LyLo I would not consider Novice a confirmed innocent. So it would be word against word no matter what we did.

My night result told me that I was visited by Medusa. I didn't know which player was Medusa.
