What is the game title?
When you say two factions, you mean that it's just heroes and gods?

We're six players left, so if we lynch town Zak and then minion Jabbz we lose, I think?

Let's say Jabbz remained a hero but started rooting for the gods after being tortured. That seems plausible on the surface. Would he petrify Zak if he didn't know Zak's alignment, though? And with no kill happening, wouldn't he then assume Zak to be scum and NOT come forward with his result? Even if he knew Zak was no God, how would he let the remaining God know that he should no-kill?
So maybe Jabbz would have had to get a full-blown alignment switch (i.e. gain communication abilities with the remaining god) for this to be true.

Yes. So maybe we should lynch Jabbz first just in case ?

I'm torn. There seem to be good objective reasons for trusting Jabbz' claim the most, but subjectively I believe Zak. It's just that my judgement with him has proven worthless, historically.
Some thoughts.
1. I agree that MJW's "lynch Zak first" reasoning seems constructed.
2. I agree that Zak's story has no holes and that Jabbz' story seems implausible.
Why I'm favouring Jabbz' claim:
1. Jabbz would have to no kill which seems like a needless risk of framing someone for no real gain (because a doctor save nets us another lynch anyway)
2. The final God should be Zeus, not Medusa.
Can I reconcile my gut with the facts? Let's try. Jabbz is Zeus, a shapeshifter, who can impersonate Perseus (scans as town) and Medusa (role- and voteblocker). His power(s) are described as shapeshifting into someone and then visiting a player in that shape. His game plan is to no kill and frame Zak, lynch him on D3, dodge a doctor on N3 and get to D4 with 4 players left and one of them voteblocked. And then what?

I meant this, thought I'd seen it in a thread title, too. In my mind, this is the "gods and heroes" game.
Hmm yeah, I thought the no kill had bought us another mislynch but I guess not.
He could have been told who the gods are when he was converted? I imagine he just tacked the roleblock onto his claim since there happened to be no kill. His initial plan was just to take away my vote. Doesn't explain why there actually was no kill, though...
BTW. if he was converted, he was probably a voteblocker all along. So no change in powers, just alignment.
If you know what I mean.

Maybe it wasn't the torture that recruited him. He could have been recruited during the night, in exchange for not killing.

Ah, but then he would not have been lying during D2.

Lying about what?
