I miss the cow if I plant 1 W, which is the place I should plant to work the ivory at start, speeding up worker.

I can plant 1NW, obviously. It looses quick worker, and looses riverside for health/dike. Gains stupid cow and that riverside plains wheat. Perhaps such a capital is best for early game, at size 5 it'll push out workers and settlers pretty fast. New cities borrow these tiles for quick startup, capital will have cottages to work by then.

Okay. I'll try that out. Improve sheep-wheat-cow-corn.

Going for religion is after all stupid since I am creative. Other myst civs will think "Molach will not go for religion, he's creative, so we have a good shot at budduism..." (only 2 other myst civs I think).

And only two goody huts found so far, and I even need a detour to pick up both.

What is best hut result now that techs are only the first row ones? Big gold perhaps, if that is still in.

Tech to wheel, then agri, then mining/BW.
Due to placement of resources, getting wheel before 1st worker saves at least one turn, also builds a free "road" to the NW.

Depressing resource placement. I called my capital "Misery", I'll see if I can keep this theme up.

Reload was because of Elkad.

So I've just been Elkadified!

One interesting pice of information is that noone else has a all-land capital. Rival best has 8000 sqm, I've got 9000. So I'm on my way to winning this easily.

Scouting NW, I found a pig and a jungle-covered grassland gold hill.
That is great! The game is giving me a reason to go for IW soonish....gallic warriors here we come.
Also got 32 gold from hut.

I'm itching to dotmap this, but suppose I can wait for a bit more scout info and a border pop.
Next move onto Gold Hill

It was called 'misery', was gonna follow up with 'despair', 'hopelessness', 'sadness', 'depression' and so forth.
Didn't quite pick up good vibrations from that theme, so reload granted me a second chance of a theme.
