At the beginning of this Spring I went on a ski trip to New Zealand. Queenstown actually. What a gorgeous town. Being the tourist that I was, I took a few photos. If anyone is interested, here they be..

Aye, Queenstown was truly the most beautiful place I have ever witnessed. I skied at the Remarkables, which were used in filming LotR. They were nothing less than breathtakingly beautiful.

The photo of the rocky bridge over the water is spectacular.

Thanks for the compliments! That particular rocky bridge over water was actually only about a couple of meters across and it was in the botanic gardens over there. I got a lot more photos than I put up but they were some of the good ones. There were 7 of us in the party. I am the one in the first photo of the "New Zealand Part 2" album.

As for the icebar, it was really really cool. The whole thing was made of ice, including your glasses! Cost a fortune to get in though, but it was very worth it.
