Been doing some arena runs, lately, for a change from just doing quests and saving gold.
I kid you not, last 4! runs ended 6-3.
Not a disaster, all gave me back around 130 gold plus the pack, but it would have been so much better payout with 7-3 and 5-3 twice each instead.
Two rogue runs among the 6-3, other were mage and paladin. Can't really decide which of them are stronger in arena now...both helped by good class powers, so inspire is more valuable.

It's been a while since I've done a run--after that great Mage run went 2-3, I went on tilt a bit, doing a crappy Hunter run (done mainly for quests) that went 2-3 as well, then joining the dark side with a Paladin run that started 0-1 (all in one sitting), then I went away from Arena for a bit. I just came back and finished up the run, and it somehow managed to get to 7 wins! It seemed average to me, other than the one Murloc Knight--being on the winning side of it hasn't convinced me it's anywhere near fair by the way; I can just look at the match where I ended with 3 Murloc Knights on board
A Shaman run's coming up next--I like Shaman, though I haven't done one yet in the HearthArena era, so it'll be interesting
Edit: Here's the run. It's interesting, especially in the way the curve values Overload cards--it considers Totem Golem to be a 3-drop, but not Fireguard Destroyer, and doesn't put Feral Sprit on the curve at all!
I'm also surprised at how low it valued Dunemaul Shaman--I mean, I probably don't take it over the Knife Juggler, but only ~30? It feels like you're getting a lot of raw power for relatively minor drawbacks (Overload 1 and the 50% misaim). Does it value all the 50% misaim cards that low? Maybe I'm undervaluing that drawback--the only time it's really bad is when there's something you need to kill, or it suicides into a bigger creature (which you can work around if it happens)? Or maybe the tier assumes it'll just die before it attacks, in which case you're paying 5 for a 5/4? Maybe I'm overvaluing Windfury, just because of how swingy it is (though I've had enough bad experiences with Whirl-o-Matic to know Windfury isn't worthless)?

The 50% miss chance really devalues the wind fury on Dunemaul and 5/4 for 5 is very bad value. Ogre brute, a good card, has 50% miss chance but has great stats at 4/4 for 3 for comparison.
the 3/2 windfury for 2 is good because the effect is "free" and it's a 2 drop that stays threatening if dropped later on since it represents 6 damage to face.

I don't draft Hunter a lot but for some reason I do very well statistically with the class, this went 11-3: http://www.heartharena.com/arena-run/17t518
went 10-0, then lost to Coghammer (oh well, epics), horrible mad bomber RNG (t2 bomber hits my Zombie twice and his annoyotron 0 times), and a massive tempo Sap when I was forced to play Sea Giant in response to a Molten and it got sapped. The freezing trap worked similarly well for me once against a priest. Ball of spiders turned out to work very well, but mainly because of the Stormwind Champion synergy. The card is certainly not in the caliber of Highmane.

@Pindicator: Worst luck ever....also his perfect answer to it. (Did he have 6 health + 5 armor? Hard to see under arrow. If so, even more lucky him)
Managed two more 6-3's, totalling 6 in row, before I had a 2-3. Whew.
One of the 6-3 was a warlock demon deck, I thought it looked quite good, with voidcallers, sense demon (draw 2 demons for 2 mana) and 3 big tough demons. I started out 0-2 and though, well, that was that. So felt that my deck was somewhat vindicated by taking 6 wins in a row.
You never know, maybe the deck was really good, just met 2 lucky/even better decks up front. Or maybe I fought lemons for 6 easy wins.
New deck in the works:
After playing a lot of (6-3 ending) 'value' types of decks, I decided to go all-out zoolock in arena and see if I could rush my way to 7 wins instead. Seems to be working out decently so far. Or maybe I just met 4 even crappier decks/players. 4th win was a nice show of what a good hand for me vs weak enemy start will do, T1 flame imp, T2 wrathguard, T3 deathlord, after T4 he had lost 18 health and T5 it was all over with plenty of damage to spare.
I would have liked more charge obviously, or some sticky minions, but there is at least some potential for some last bit of damage when I run out of steam after a board wipe or two.
Don't know how effective those big guys are, but one game went to T10 and was helped to finish with the north sea kraken. With hero power giving me more cards than I can play anyway, having that 9-mana card in hand doesn't matter much. I think. And nice to have when games run long.

I had majordomo summoned by Paletress once too. Fortunately, I had enough control to could set up a series of win/win coin flips with the Ragnaros power (hit face for lethal or remove their 1 threat)

Yeah, I had the game won and was grinding a win down. The turn I played Paletress I was thinking it was probably safer to just play Holy Champion and the 3/5 untargetable from Ysera and just continue to grind him down ... but it's Paletress! The card is Fun! so I had to play it. And yeah, of course he had combo + innervate to give perfect lethal. Hilarious, even if it was at my expense

Lots of interesting stuff, starting with a surprisingly successful Hunter run--I'm 8-2 at the moment, and it doesn't feel like there's that much special, other than a lot of burn.
Next, the Tavern Brawl this week seems crazy, and the perfect response to everyone who wants no variance in the game. Seriously, what's the stupidest thing people have done with it? I just used a Druid deck to clear out a quest, and the only crazy thing was having Savage Roar be my only 3 (though a lot of it was drawing the second Savage Roar both times).
Finally, now that I'm doing much better in Arena (and playing a lot more/cycling quests), I'm getting a nice stockpile of gold; 2000 right now (not counting the upcoming Arena spoils). What's the best way to use all of it, since I doubt I'm going to be running out of Arena runs anytime soon. At this point I have all but the last wing of Naxxramas, as well as the first wing of Blackrock Mountain; should I be buying one of those? Or should I be buying a bunch of packs, even though it feels so much worse than buying Arena runs?

This is it guys, it's the best brawl yet! So many possibilities to explore. What parts of your curve do you want to draw specific cards on? What parts are you willing to get one of many decent options?
You can build your deck around any card in this brawl and KNOW you will draw it. But you have to pick and choose which cards are those most important ones, because you still have to play 29 others.
