I turned research back on today ! End of next turn is philosophy and the great person. Retep seems to be going in the same direction, he got meditation last turn so he'll be going philosophy next and then who knows ?

To lib rifling he needs : banking->RP->gunpowder and then philosophy->education->liberalism. I doubt he can get that before I get lib, even without a GS.

Most likely outcome : I'll tech nationalism, build the taj, use the GA to get education before realizing that Sian and/or Retep will get lib before me, then go towards either rifling or MS. Sian got Taoism this turn, he's 1t ahead already.

Oh yeah GE the Taj, the 6 forests near the new filler city I'm building wouldn't be enough (I don't have any city with more forests than this new one). I'm considering GE-ing it in Pappus, to help the culture war against Retep. It's not like I care about losing it to an invasion.
