Now I see that my neighbor is ipecac who can build his UU without copper, I need to ask do I rush sailing for the economic benefit for the long term or get hunting and archery 1st against dog soldiers threatening my cities and crash my economy around T6X. So far I don't see that he built any but I have no idea how far apart we are since my scout died .

After T36, seeing how close his scout was, I proposed a turn split with me going first like the previous 2 turns to ipecac, which he accepted. He also allowed me to log in to take a look after his turn played.
T37 EOT Here I already moved the warrior out expecting this, and the key tile to occupy is the hill SW of cap to restrict the scout's options. I am not taking a 60% shot on forested hill, but would on a bare hill or flat land. The main goals for me were to not let the scout mess up city micros and not let him see where my copper was T38 T39 Now I moved the warrior to the sheep tile because I was not sure if the scout occupied it after my turn, the city would not get the 5 yield. Also if the scout moved NE, the next move would be to move the warrior to the corn to block the scout. EOT39 Accepted peace. Accomplished my goals. Sailing before archery it is. Global events so far T37: Greywolf grew cap to 5. REM whipped cap from 3 to 2. T38: OH grew cap to 3. OT4E and REM settled their cities. TWB researched pottery. T39: OH researched pottery. Molach grew cap to 3. TWB grew cap to 4. Also just realized that in the actual game, there is no forest 2N of cap (it was in the sim). So hooking up copper will be a lot faster. What a turn. After accounting for REM's pop increase, the global power rose by 5K, which means that someone made a rax. Wonder who did. Likely Molach? Also did note that Gavagai is in a turn split with someone since he was the last to play the previous turn, but did not play this turn right after. I think Dantski got Myst. Ipecac the TW? (and someone lost a warrior to make it 4K+3K-2K = 5K) REM likely pottery. During turn OH whipped cap from 3->2 for a granary likely. Youtube Channel Twitch aka Mistoltin

I think what happened was that Dantski had researched actually myst then masonry. Not pottery and myst. Also looks like Greywolf researched meditation? I am now deathly scared that Ipecac just 2 slaved a dog. Now I could settle the 3rd city on the copper then... Youtube Channel Twitch aka Mistoltin

T43 After this turn and thinking about it, I changed researched to Hunting to 3turn it and build in 2nd city to a granary. Likely it will have to 2 whip a vulture (on T50 but can do on T49 if necessary) overflow into granary into archer T52. I wonder how close are we so that ipecac thinks his rush will work. Looks like his tech that I thought TW was Masonry? Didnt get any bonus when I turned on tech to Myst. Looks like Molach went pottery before BW. Youtube Channel Twitch aka Mistoltin

T45 Didnt see 2 powerspikes so going for a build where I 2 whip a setter into granary then axe. I really do not like planting on the copper but better safer than sorry? I could plant the settler (EDIT) 3 turns later onto the (EDIT) ice hill, which was the original city spot, but likely not worth it. Youtube Channel Twitch aka Mistoltin

Well since I made these worker moves already, no choice but to settler on copper otherwise I wont have workers ready for the next 2 cities on time. Settling on the copper does save a lot of worker turns.
