4N2 W right?
I think the second settler will be slightly later, 2T or so since everything else is shifted. Even with 2 warriors we will only have Gulliver out exploring, unless we send the "London" warrior out as well. When would we grow to size 4 with the revised plan? Could we fit another warrior in the queue in time so we can have Gulliver and another warrior exploring?
It sounds we are all favoring the "build 2 warriors earlier" approach, so what do we do with Gulliver? I like E, then SE. But if he gets eaten by a bear, we are really going to be hurting.

I guess I deserve the badge of shame for trying to correct my error...and still failing.
E-SE works for me.
As for another warrior...we can build one on T46 off of the overflow. We'd end T45 with 6/26 food in the box, and can grow at 6fpt while getting 5hpt. So 2 warriors, growing to size 4, and then we can do whatever we want.

When would we hit size 4 -- before or after the second settler? (Thinking after, but not sure since chops may be involved.)
It we grow to size 4 after the settler then we could build 2 warriors, send one to the PH pigs/dry wheat site to fortify there (only 1 tile out of our border, after all), and send the other scouting. Maybe south past the silks, since Gulliver is working the east?

Units moved. Nothing interesting for Gulliver, but then again no animals is definitely a blessing.
SE looks best, I think.
Size 4 would be after the 2nd settler. Growing to size 4 before pasturing the sheep is slow and not useful, since we wouldn't have 4 improved tiles. We'd grow to size 4 at the end of T49, having just finished warriors on T46 and 49.
At size 4:
8 hpt
+5 fpt
14 commerce + TR income out of London.
Workers would then take 4t to build, settler 6.67, and warriors 2, without chops or whips.

No barbs on Gulliver is good. SE next looks good to me as well.
Plans for London sound good also. So we should be able to send one of the new warriors our scouting, probably the first one. Maybe SSW to see what is south of the silks? Or directly SE of London to check out the hill pigs, while Gulliver goes further east?
The new city will start kicking in a few beakers as well. Not sure we will get TR income until the borders pop on city #2, since we do not have Sailing.

Once we reach size 4 we have 4 good tiles to work. We should probably slave in a granary as soon as Pottery finishes, then continue growing.
If we had some metal to hook up, I would recommend a 2-pop whip to get us a couple quick axes for real defense. But....
We can keep growing, and later 3-pop whip a settler if desired. But with settlers being 7-turn builds at size 4, and maybe 6 turn at size 5, not sure it is worth it.

Granary's a 1-pop whip (expansive), once we put 1t of production into it. If we have copper before it, though, we could 2-pop whip an axe, and have the overflow knock out the granary. Depends on where the copper is, and how hard roading it to the capital will be. Or knock out a barracks and the granary off a single 2-pop whip.

If we have copper, I would like to get an axe out quickly. Or better yet, two axes from a 2-pop whip. Have to make sure to not put too many hammers in the first turn on the axe, of course.
Barracks and granary...sort of. 50 + 30 (half price) = 80 - 60 (2 pop whip) = 20 left. But you put 1 turn into the barracks first, and get the production of the whip turn and the following turn. So if we can get 20 hammers in 3 turns, we can get a barracks and granary back to back.
How hard we want to whip the capital is something we will need to evaluate case by case. GHM on the river are pretty nice tiles, and I am not sure we come out ahead overall by whipping them away. Our rice and sheep are also very strong tiles and on the river. We may want to avoid whipping down below size 4. Or at least, below size-3-with-immediate-regrowth.
Getting the granary immediately is an exception, and also maybe workers due to the EXP bonus. But at size 4 and above workers will be such quick builds that I doubt we will want to whip them. Library might be a good candidate for a 2-pop whip, also, to get the +25% beakers ASAP.
