Adlain Wrote:Ok Jowy, heres my questions.
-->Regarding the war with India, what are the aims of the war, namly are you planing to just cripple them or wipe them out.
-->Regarding your alliance with other CoW members;
------- who do you trust,
------- who do you feel are being less than honest
------- who do you see as your main threat to wining the Game (not inc India)
-->How have you enjoyed your MP Experiance sofar, i have to say i have no experiance of MP games atall, so im intrested to hear how it is going.
- The aim is to stop them from running away with the game. We're doing anything we CAN do. Crippling them will be sufficient for most members of the alliance, but some really want to eliminate them, and nobody has anything against eliminating them. Problem is that eliminating might be tough. It really surprised how many people really wanted this attack because of India's powerhouse status instead of just joining in to increase diplomatic relations. Dantski and Athlete/Kalin both came up to me saying that we need to attack India, though A/K at first only promised mercenaries as their war with Rego was still going on. When they were finished, they came up with this CoW alliance and recruited Nakor and Whosit.
- Generally I trust Ottomans. Willing to go to Final Two with them. I trust the rest of CoW in regards of this attack, not because I'd necessary trust their word but because of the logic behind this alliance.. We need to stop India. This is probably mine and their best shot. That's why I trust them on this. Hopefully that'll elevate to something more down the line atleast with someone. We have a threeway alliance with A/K and Whosit, so I trust Whosit a bit more than Nakor or Dantski. But Whosit needs to realise that if India gets eliminated, he's the next biggest threat out there.. maybe this three-way alliance is his way to secure his behind (although IIRC A/K were the ones to start it). I also trust Nakor more than Dantski because Dantski wasn't ready to commit early on when I asked him about our relations post-India. I'm confident there'll be Nakor vs Dantski war in this game, then I'll probably need to choose my side.
- Everyone's less than honest.. They all have their own secrets.
- Other threats are Whosit and A/K. Dantski is a bit inactive, HRE is squeezed between Dantski and Whosit, Plako is hiding at islands, Incans have been very passive.
- It's been alot of fun to play pitboss. Always exciting to open up your mailbox each new day and check out what's happening. Pitboss is no regular MP, you actually have time for diplomacy and to really think through your moves. You really get into the game as you spend months playing it. But sometimes it's tedious to play every day. Pitboss is alot like the game show "Survivor", which is one of my all-time favourites.
And here's the answers in short, I rambled off tracks a bit
- Both
- A/K
- Everyone
- Whosit, A/K
- Awesome

Rambling is fine - makes it a better read

I take from this, although you trust you allies ATM (always useful when fighting a war together) your less than convinced that the 3 way alliance with whosit and AK will work longterm - am i correct??

- India
- Mali
- Holy Roman Empire
- Korea
Atm I have max espionage on Ottomans to get their graphs.
I've spent most points on India and managed to get their research visible, then next turn made a deal with them to turn off espionage from eachother Knowing their techs has been a great help planning and executing this war. Btw lurkers please try not to hint off India on this, if they suddenly notice after I post this answer then that's the last answer lurkers are going to get from me :nono1:

We've known for some time that you've had research visibility, and we know that it would be VERY spoilerish to mention anything about that. So no worries.

I should plant another commerce city soon, on the eastern river. I'm very happy with being a little behind most teams, makes me less of a threat, but can't fall too far away.

Yaz, if you're still out there, who do you trust from other teams? Never hurts to have a second opinion, especially on something that lurkers really can't reply to.

I don't trust anybody in diplo games Everybody is out to win and you only get there by beating your opponents.
Out of those I trust most from reading the emails I'd say probably Athlete/Kalin. I'd probably put the people in this order:
- AK
- Whosit - he's helping but yet on the other side of world
- Dantski
- Nakor
- Broker
- Sulla - can't trust anything your enemy says.

Surely Byzantines and Mortius - the dead never lie!
Would love to seriously have a crack at that question, but I've read the other threads and I'd be totally spoilered?
