Finally a GA to switch into normal civics.
Krill offered me iron, and has a settler on the spot I wanted to settle. I got the message and sent my settler towards my last filler location.
Ultimately my goal is to control this whole area. Allen should be retaken next turn, but with Molach and AT being eaten by Dtay and Ichabod respectively (and eating each other) I might be able to take all this.
I've come to feel that Krill had very few neighbors at start, and I'm the last one standing. I'll soon have scouted all his eastern shore to verify that.
He borders Gavagai now so I might be safe from an attack right away, but I expect to be obliterated sooner or later.

I'm not sure what Gavagai means by this, because I'm certainly not declaring war on Krill anytime soon and he's the only one we could target together.
Hurray for the return of Allen !
It's not going too bad overall, I'm even 8th in food (I can't objectively compare my GA prod and GNP with the others).

Bacchus/Gavagai are insistent.
My answer was clam vs clam : I'm your friend but I'm not declaring war on Krill with you, when my army is so far north.
Meanwhile I found Molach's army near his capital.
He has an archer defending "filler cities" and nothing in Habana. I might take a shot at those.
AT gave me three free FW, but I doubt I can take his two cities efficiently until the catapults I'm currently building arrive.

I decided to take an opportunistic shot at Molach. He has no units in his 4 southernmost cities except for this archer in Filler Cities, and his stack is in the north looking at Ichabod. Also I included signs for the situation in the west, where I might be able to take Painting Pain soon.
Here are my demos ! I need more troops.

Gavagai is really friendly, so I moved away some of my units from his side of my empire. I'm keeping the defensive ones but surely I don't need swords in this part of the world.
First front : AT. Depending on what he builds during the next turn I could be able to take both cities next turn. Then peace I think.
I can see Barteq's stack 3SW of Chicken Sticks so I want to appear friendly to him. My next area of expansion is through Molach, then when I get knights through Krill/GJ/whoever with Gavagai's help. I can already see CKN near my border, no way I'm attacking those with 6-7 strength units. But I have no intention of entering a conflict to my west.
Speaking of Molach, Habana was empty once again, and my scouting made it clear that even though he had little troops my way he was bringing enough to make me want to end my war with AT before fully going in. Around Razed Cities there are 4 HAs that will be kind of annoying (because I have so little troops available).
I may be able to take Filler Cities, mainly due to the sword in my stack, but it's no sure thing.

Mardoch had a galley near Kearney, 4 HAs near Habana and a LB in Filler Cities, so I accepted his kind offer to back off. I gained Habana so it's still a good opportunist strike.
The archer didn't change the outcome.
On the other hand the fact that there were two archers in Chicken Sticks means I'll only take it next turn (with the help of a catapult). My greatest fear is Barteq and his stack that could try an opportunistic strike of his own.

At the cost of 3HAs and a catapult I took chicken sticks ! I proposed peace to AT, because I don't think it's reasonable to contest the last cities from Barteq (who puts a LOT of EP on me) and Dtay.
I'm going to try to settle this area now that friendly Gavagai is in control instead of Krill. Settling 1S of stone is really asking for trouble, so I probably won't do it. That incense is sure tempting !
Yummy demos !

Post-GA demos are fine, actually finer than I expected.
Barteq is being a PITA, he put a LOT of EP on me and I might have to put the espionage slider up after guilds. But other than that he's pretty friendly

A lucky spawn !
It allows me to stop sending gems to Ichabod, but because I want to be friends with him I sent him a fish for fish proposal. If he wants my gems he can buy it (now that I think about it maybe I should have offered a price for it).
3 knights of his are in Molach territory (that I can see), but I'd like to take those cities when the peace treaty expires.
Also present on this picture : Taotao having fun with EI. I think it's not loaded, else he could have sniped my capital last turn (only a spear in there).
Gavagai logged in before I left, and Tsargon got a GG. But I'm sure you lurkers will get a better report on how that battle went pretty soon.

Ichabod is friendly, which is good news.
My next great person spawns in 10t, I hope I get the prophet really, those priests aren't great specialists to use.
Plan B is to get buddhism in Kearney, build a buddhist temple and hire 2 priests there instead of 1. But it will take a loooon time before he spawns.
Edit : still 5t of peace with Molach, so Ichabod may be getting all of his cities. That's annoying.
