Yup, built it in the same city as the MoM, no less. Is there really any way this game doesn't end with Wetbandit winning? His lead is huuuuuge.

Borsche, the second place player, is playing 3 minute back-to-back turns... game is so ridiculously over.

If I'm Dreylin I'd let Grimace fight off Whosit's army on his own and then wheel around and attack Grimace as soon as Whosit is dead, before he has time to reinforce his army too much. Unless they had some kind of longer term agreement underway I guess. Though I'd assume the war alliance should last exactly ten turns and no longer....

You know, I'm not surprised to see a lot of people didn't like the diplo rules, but I was hoping to go without the vitriolic hyperbole. Obviously, if you don't want to play the game that way you won't play in such a game. So, be nice in the future please.
That said, it appears there were several unanticipated issues with these AI Diplo+ rules. This was the first time they were implemented. If anyone chooses to play with them again, the rules can be adjusted to handle any pitfalls. I for one enjoyed having the opportunity to interact with the other players a little more and actually wish I had more neighbors at the start.
I did like the map and really wish I had picked the Celts instead, though I doubt that would have altered the outcome of my game. It also appears that the imbalance in Calendar happy resources was intentional? Not really sure why that was done but I don't think it broke anything. I'm a little disappointed that nothing was discussed beyond the diplo rules, but then again, this wasn't really a Big Name game so it's not a surprise.

Well, there's just not much to discuss... two continents got trapped in early wars, while the 3rd continent focused on growth. Wetbandit had a crazy good combo and played it really well, so he just kinda ran away with it. Not much else to say, sorry.

Dreylin mounted an admirable rally, should be noted. Not enough, but still worth
