Good work on the first two, Commodore and Seven. I hope to be more useful on the next clue.

Cant really see any of the others....unless joke "can I get a doggie-bug for the leftovers" For our missing first clue; Mercury.....or ham (should be kept cool)

Not too thrilled with Mercury; half the planet is extremely hot and the thermometer connection strikes me as being tenuous. I still prefer "file".
Agreed, bark and lab.
Since we are ahead, I would not press our luck with a bonus guess on the one we missed on the last clue just yet. Maybe another round of red team's guesses will help narrow down the field for what the third "cool" word was. Casting the net as wide as possible, here are my candidates and reasonings: *Mug. If you have a mug of hot coffee or chocolate, you need to let it cool first. *Fly. In the 1970s, another way of something that something was "cool" was to say that it was "fly." *Bug. If you "catch a bug," that's like "catching a cold," which is related to "cool." *Mercury. Used to measure temperature. Also, I know that the planet Mercury is on average very hot, but the side that happens to face away from the sun at any time actually cools down a lot because of the lack of atmosphere. So, Mercury is still my top pick for the third "cool" word. But like I said, we can afford to wait one more round on this to be safe.
Point to Bark
Point to Lab I'll leave it up to another teammate if we want to make a third guess, given the range of options I agree with Psi that we should let it go for another round. |
