If you could go for the leftovers, would you do it?

And it could be worth something substantial, given a rush to build certain early power wonders. The other Ind combos are either meh or have superior alternatives imo. Only real competition is if Mack takes Ramesses of Mongolia, which is a significant possibility, but I think Willem of Vikings is slightly better to have at least one earlyish game trait in CRE. And Mack loves knigs not keshiks...

Well if Mack's idea gets taken up he won't take Rameses - and I presume he wouldn't be first on anyone's list, so taking Qin and trying for Stonehenge or Oracle->MC would tempt.

As for leftovers: whatever Commodore, OT4E or 2metra discard would be the most appealing but they aren't amazing, so I'd probably stick with Sury or Qin.

Someone needs to poll the lurker thread about how many teams will be discussing conceding by T100 because they're not way ahead of the competition.

Y'know, I think I'm going to enjoy this thread.

My money is on Commodore to call the winner first, but then to happily keep on playing out a lost cause.

I'm rooting for another Commodore-pindicator deathmatch. dancing

Eh, what? I'm still here. Haven't all the games of yours I've lurked been modded?

IIRC you only play BtS, so taotao probably got confused.

And I resent that description: I'm only here to rouse the rabble troll

Also to prevent OH from being rushed too early shhh

That part is true, when I play at all (and I'm actually pleasantly surprised either you or him would remember that!). At this point I'm pretty much just here to say 'delenda est', too.

I'm pretty sure in PB30
your simming got me the second city early enough that I could at least whip a spear out when confronted by the barbarian horde.

Ipecac - there is no such thing as OH being rushed too early - once I get rushed then all the stress of having to plan and execute perfect micro fades and the joy of tactical maneuvering explodes.
