Don't lose hope yet! Some of the best moments on this site are when people refuse to give up and end up defending in the face of impossible odds.

oh yeah i'll definitely fight until the bitter end, but i'm going to lose a lot of cities out of this unless someone hits Adrien hard enough for him to immediately withdraw his entire stack and gav decides to leave me alone

i can switch back into slavery this turn so i'll likely whip a bunch of CKN/Pikes/Longbows. ideally i'd whip a bunch of knights but i havent been able to get guilds yet. these two strikes from HAK and Adrien came at the worst possible moment. i just needed like 7-10 more turns and i would have been able to defend this soooo much better.

ok well im legit completely done now. i overestimated the effect of CKNs, and mixed with a few unlucky combat outcomes managed to burn most of my stack attacking HAK in Pelsall.

normally i would have tried to sim it out but since i was already holding up the turn i decided to jsut go with it. kinda feel a little dumb now.

lost my capital + 1 other city this turn. Ichabod still hasn't declared on Adrien. Gavagai is sieging Chesterton down slowly and HAK is healing his stack in Pelsall.

There's nothing i can do about any of this other than dry whip as many units as possible to slow them down and force them to regrow the cities once they are captured.

Ichabod sent me a metal for metal trade this turn, which i *think* means hes going to wardec adrien, but at this point who cares. you're a little late dude!!!!!

Gavagai took Chesterton, which was somewhat surprising. I thought i'd delayed him by at least one more turn but i guess not.

by my count he spent the following units to do it:
4 cats
3 knights
5 war elephant
8 horcher
1 axe

i lost a lot more (obviously) but i guess i can take some solace in the fact that im making it difficult for at least ONE person to take my cities.

I didn't notice until i hit unpause just now, but adrien has asked for a peace treaty. sorry dude but if you think you can just waltz in and capture a bunch of my cities and then expect me to make it easy for you to retreat and defend against ichabod, you're kidding yourself.

HAK has also resumed his invasion. he's sieging down bloxwich and will probably be able to take it next turn. unfortunately i'm just spread far too thin now to offer any further resistance to either HAK or Gavagai. I'll continue to whip and garrison what i can but at this point im just delaying the inevitable - im going to bleed out sooner or later, but i'll do my best to ensure its the latter rather than the former.

at what point am I allowed to switch to AI? I managed to retake a few of my cities from Adrien and got peace 2 turns ago but now that Gav has mostly finished up with HAK he's declared war on me again. He has 20+ curs and probably 30 or more units supporting the and i have a small handful of knights and that's about it. I'm not really going to be able to do anything productive from here on out, but don't want to just set to AI without seeing what the expectation is.
