Gavagai took Chesterton, which was somewhat surprising. I thought i'd delayed him by at least one more turn but i guess not.
by my count he spent the following units to do it:
4 cats
3 knights
5 war elephant
8 horcher
1 axe
i lost a lot more (obviously) but i guess i can take some solace in the fact that im making it difficult for at least ONE person to take my cities.
I didn't notice until i hit unpause just now, but adrien has asked for a peace treaty. sorry dude but if you think you can just waltz in and capture a bunch of my cities and then expect me to make it easy for you to retreat and defend against ichabod, you're kidding yourself.
HAK has also resumed his invasion. he's sieging down bloxwich and will probably be able to take it next turn. unfortunately i'm just spread far too thin now to offer any further resistance to either HAK or Gavagai. I'll continue to whip and garrison what i can but at this point im just delaying the inevitable - im going to bleed out sooner or later, but i'll do my best to ensure its the latter rather than the former.
