The turn rolled over earlier. I don't have Civ access for a while, but we should have a fairly uneventful turn. Our Worker will finish the road he started last turn, protected by a Warrior. Jenkins is still healing up.
One interesting thing on Civstats is that the score for Ad hoc & co decreased during their turn. Maybe they attacked something and lost? It's hard to say.

Turn 37:
Hinduism was founded by Krill/Egypt this turn. When I noticed the announcement in the log, I was about to check Civstats to see which Civs increased in score this turn, but that turned out to be unnecessary.
Look at this:
This is rather confusing to me. The symbol next to Krill's score clearly shows he founded the religion, but why does it show that way? There has been no in-game contact between our Civs as far as I'm aware (that is what the question mark indicates, right?).
Maybe an Egyptian unit saw our units or borders from a tile we don't have vision on? I'm really not sure what to make of it.
Other than that, the lion is back in vision, currently 1S from the Horses. Depending on what it does, we may want to lure it into attacking Jenkins for another experience point. For now though, I left him to heal.
Anoleis finished the first road tile. Next turn he'll move SW and start on the second one. Our Settler will finish next turn as well. The overflow will finish our third Warrior the turn after that.

I think you can always see who founded what religion in multiplayer, regardless of whether you know them or not. Similar to how in singleplayer you can find out what player got what great person as long as you have their territory revealed, even if you have not met them yet.
Not sure why anyone's score would decrease this early. Losing units should only impact solider points. If they started with mining they may have bronzeworking by this point and whipped a worker or perhaps an emergency defender.
Have you played Mass Effect 2 yet? It's astoundingly good, although I'm a bit depressed now that I beat it and have to wait another 2-3 years (DLC nonwithstanding). Tons of new names and locations we can use for this game, although I won't mention anything if it'll be spoilers.

The religion thing is just MP, similar to the fact that you can see people's scores before you have met them which you can't do in SP either!
There are mods to hide that sort of information I believe though I guess it's probably useless here where half the teams probably know every other team's techs from C&D anyway.
But it does beg the question when are we actually going to meet someone! I hope we don't get screwed out of too many early deals/global conspiracy plan to kill us because they already have a club of 4 teams or whatever.
Then again, maybe staying out of harms way and not getting noticed is a good thing?
As for more character names, let's hope we stay alive long enough that we start to run out of names!

Okay, I moved. Used Moogle's post on the first page as a guide. Worker moved onto grass tile NE of second city spot, started road. Jenkins stayed in positon to finish healing. Moved Fred to cover worker. Realized that I left no one to cover the settler. Settler could move as far as either the plains square 2NE of where the worker had been, or the forest south of that; as neither appeared to get him on the 2nd city spot any quicker, I placed him on the plains. He's undefended (WHOOPS) but every tile around him is fogged and unless wolves can run through hills or forests without losing a movement point should be fine (they can't... can they?). I realized that the plan seems to call for the 2nd city being founded next turn- I think I may have missed something, because I don't see how that could have been possible.

Ugh.. now that you mentioned the religion thing, it of course seems obvious. I'm just too used to SP at this point. Anyway, my mistake there.. it certainly won't be the last either.
Whoever founded Buddhism won't have adopted it as their official religion then. Krill would have no problem switching as a Spiritual leader, but for everyone else the best time to do so would probably be alongside revolting into Slavery. It is fairly likely that the team doesn't have BW yet, but we may see the switch in a couple of turns.
The plan on the first page is a bit outdated now, Bob. When we selected our second city site, the mirco changed a bit. I had a quick look ingame though, and there's no way of anyone being able to attach our Settler this turn, and he will be properly covered again next turn, so no need to worry.
The turn should roll over pretty soon, and we'll finish our third Warrior. Research is set to a second Worker in our plans, do we all still agree on this?
And yes, I've played and finished ME2, and enjoyed it for the most part. It's very good for a sequel.

Turn rolled so I started to play the turn but didn't finish it (moved the settler/finished road but haven't moved any warriors). There is a small chance that there could be a 2 move animal on the unfogged desert tile 2S of Feros. It's unlikely since there is already that lion somewhere to the south but do we want to take the risk of leaving the settler exposed on the hill?

Jenkins should still be on the hill healing, right?

Okay, took a quick look ingame and Jenkins was fully healed. But leaving either the Settler or Worker exposed would be quite risky, so I let the Warriors cover them. The third Warrior (Rechristened Engineer Adams ) is guarding the Citadel for now.
Feros will be founded next turn. Fredricks can take over defense at that point to free up Jenkins for scouting again. Sending him NW-W-W past the stone to explore the western side of the river would be my preference.

Turn 40:
We founded our second city this turn, Feros. It's location isn't great, and Feros doesn't have that many longterm redeeming qualities, however it provides access to horses which will be incredibly important for our military, and our Cataphracts later on.
Founding the city means we'll be sitting at 0% science this turn. At 100% research we now sit at -4 gold/turn. Maintenance costs on Emperor really hurt! Fortunately it allows us to run 100% science for the 3 turns afterwards and finish Bronze Working. The added city commerce and trade roads added a further 3 beakers to our research total as well.
Using the city tile, Anoleis was able to start pasturing the Horse tile right away instead of having to wait a turn. Fredricks was likewise able to reach the tile right away to provide cover. Jenkins, now fully healed, has started scouting again. I marked the suggested path on the screenshot. Although you can't see it very well in the picture, the tile in the fog is another forest.
Anyway, this will change our buildplan again. I think having access to horses a turn early means we can skip the planned fourth Warrior at the Citadel and go straight to a Chariot. I'll try and confirm this right away.
