With 2 galleons we can make nice invasion, so I'd prefer to have 3 galleons even if we are not ready to fill them all right now. We are in nationhood and we can draft more any time. Also we need to schedule some siege, 2-3 catas will be enough imho.

At some point we will need stables everywhere. It is ok to delay it, though right now we can produce it exactly with maximum overflow considering choppings.
Quote:We also need to discuss when & how we start to build our own research capacity (presumable other than with Hammers).
We will return to this when we expand and set up stable fronts.
Quote:Another thought on Chickens; if he puts the Explorer on the Rice, he'll see the city tile. I think we part-build both the 3rd Galleon and the Frigate and hold them in queue until we've planted on the island and bumped him.
Galleons are mostly against others, not against DZ. Him we cant take by surprise 2nd time. Though not giving him a sight of more than 1 galleon is good idea.

Gaspar is probably going for the forest hill:
Also noticed that Donovan has Coal hooked up.
Whipped the Settler in Llamas and bought the Granary in Chameleons. Rifle is on the way to the Island. Didn't finish the chop at Rabbits; I did the maths and we'd lose a couple of hammers in the overflow - plus we can chop it next turn at the same time as the others anyway.
I sent the Missionary towards Chameleons - it couldn't spread in Rabbits this turn anyway - but it could divert back if you think it should go to the new city instead.

I think it is ok to spread into Chameleons. I wanted to finally make culture there, because the granary starts working from the half of storaged food. (April 19th, 2016, 21:39)Dreylin Wrote: Gaspar is probably going for the forest hill:
May be we need to start making fort on the deserted hill near Goats. I more free settler coming!

Interesting... Has he brought a spy to us? We have ~80%.

Either that or he just scouting with it. I tend to think we take the shot, unless we can get a second Privateer out in the next couple of turns to chase him down?

He is still logged in, right? The Galleon could have double-moved us, or be pending second set of movement.

I'd have taken too.
I am thinking about Goats, do we really want to whip it or to grow... Well I think we can wait for next turn with whipping anyway, 34/96 is still 2 pop, right?
May be we need to draft/grow Rabbits for 1 more turn, chopping into wealth. If we whip it to 3 we wont be able to draft for some time.

A nice success on the shot:
It seems this was an Engineer turn abroad:
I did go back and Draft Rabbits, set on Wealth & max growth.
Maybe one more whip of Goats and then concentrate on growing for the GA. We are also going to need more Workers to help with the flock of new cities coming online.

I agree on workers, we also aim on Serfdrorm.Workers are good to be built from overflow or chopping to minimize the number of turns we do not grow.
