We controlled five cities when I ended the last turn - Ollantaytambo the Heroic Epic city, Vilcas the Moai city are the important ones. Also in our hands are the city on the northeast border with DZ that will likely be attacked and conquered this turn, the city southwest of Cuzco, and Huamanga which was captured by taotao but I managed to retake temporarily since it was defended by a single Knight.
Ollantaytambo is threatened by five Knights and a Horse Archer this turn, so I shifted some of our Knights from Vilcas to bolster its defences. Next turn taotao can have over a dozen Knights in range, but there's no harm in delaying him one more turn. Maybe it would better to let taotao capture it so we can retake and burn down more buildings, but this way we can squeeze out an extra 14xp Knight, and anyway the settled GGs are the biggest prize from that city.
Our peace treaty with Donovan ran out and he has something like ten Knights on the northeast border, so war with him seems imminent. Too bad for him he's only going to pick up a single marginal tundra city, plus the filler cities he got last war. I think Serdoa should have either gone all-in with attacking last time, or waited a little longer to build up strength. Attacking at tech parity against an enemy when they have Formation Knights and you don't was never going to go anywhere fast.
