[Spoilers] Dreylin's short visit to a late Era

Gaspar has whipped settler last turn. And I think I found expalanation why is his MG is walking around. He is going to plant forward. It also explains why is he roading that forest hill instead of chopping. It will be interesting if he still does it when we plant our city. I think it will be helpful.

Is he really planning to settle up on the top Power civ, when he appears to not have built a single unit yet!?!?

With your reputation? lol

He can plant that city on T286 on horses or on T285 below corn. But there is still some chance he rethinks when sees our border, though his initial intentions are clear.

Bad news from this turn is that DZ sent SoL in our direction.

Btw our peace expires next turn and our workers will be under strike. May be we'd better slow build banana with just 1 worker?

I also think about leaving privateer in the southern sea, making 1 more privateer in Chameleons and chop/buy SoL in new island city. Chopping workboat can be a waste. While our landing group will be covered with Frigate. There is no chance Gaspar will make any navy in reasonable time.

Out of curiosity, where does "OT4E's reputation" that you're referring to come from? Is it from another game here at RB (I haven't been following the games recently until I found out about this game)?

PB30. His thread is here

Also, I think OT4E was a top dueler back when there was a live community for quick timer games. I wasn't part of that but I've heard him mentioned.

Planted 2 cities:

And whipped 2 Cavs.

Our Power is kinda obvious:

We should have Donovan's graphs next turn.

Checking on the Civics:

Although Gaspar should have a GE resting about somewhere ... haven't spotted it though.

Still coming this way:

Also Donovan's GA has ended without a revolt. And the SoL has been moved as you predicted.

His GE went on Steam power, so most probably he wont even be able to run GA and change for nationhood. Though his cities are whipped hard, so it would barely help.

If he plants then we have to declare war earlier, on the turn after he plants (since he is last each turn). So send the cavs we have there. And move spy back, dont need to let him know what is happening if it suddenly gets caught.

We declare, capture and keep city on T286. Great idea with the worker on forest hill, use it for roading.

On T287 we move galleons and the rest of cavs as we planned.

I'll make some simulations but in most favorable way we can use charge promotion against MG even with rifleman in.

On T286 6 cavs can attack, but at least 2 of them must be in just produced Galleon in Goats, otherwise they cant reach that city. So move another Galleon to take its spot and take the rest of cavs at T286-T287 (it must be in Goats at the beginning of T287 to be able to move in position.
