Probably at minimum we should reject and then re-offer as it delays any "realisation" abroad that we aren't committed to going after him.

I declined. We can reoffer it any turn and DZ will happily accept it, I am sure. We declare war to Gaspar in just 2 turns, so no matter if we make DZ build some units or even more ships during these. He didnt take worker btw.

Interesting thing that BGN declared war to DZ. Did you manage to sign defensive pact with him?
His Galleon appeared in the other sea. We must reinforce coast including draft from GP next turn.

OK, but we shouldn't wait too long because we want him to have accepted before we declare on Gaspar so he doesn't get any ideas about joining in a 2-way.

How does the loss of the Silk Happiness hurt us?
I don't think I signed a Defensive Pact, just meant to offer a map trade. Also, that can't be the same Galleon, can it? It shouldn't have enough movement to get around there after dropping off the Gren on that hill.

Ah, maybe he does with circumnav ... plus could have double-moved for 3x5 over 2 turns.
BTW, there are 2 chops ready to go at Chameleons, so maybe we don't need to buy the Privateer after all.

T285 end: Gaspar plants
T286 DZ's part: he doesnt know anything about our war and happily accepts peace
T286 our part: we declare

Yeap, sure. But please bring 2nd privateer there. Two privateers can beat SoL, not always, but they are serious power.

Not really. We have 1 unhappy in Rabbits, it will recover from draft next turn, but I wanted to draft it again this. We can spend 20-30 gold and rise drama for a few turns.

Looks good, and in the meantime we don't do anything to provoke him and hope he also doesn't do anything foolish.
Privateer will make its way over, while everything else will head the other direction - which I think stacks them all on the same tile.

It is just a matter of a single turn. Let's not provoke, of course, pull back worker from bananas. We will have time to finish it.
I'd also draft from both Rabbits and Chickens on 10% drama and send both units towards DZ and BGN.
We finally see his power:
Who knows what they have in mind? I think BGN is not happy with GP, we need to show that he has no chance.
About workers on iron, I think we'd better not road yet too. Let's make it look we are busy with domestic business.
Galleon advances to fort THIS turn, we need it to pick up units. Not necessary to stack everything on a single tile.

t284 -
Well, through no delays of ours, Gaspar played first and apparently he agreed with me:
I went ahead and loaded a Gren & 2Rifles into the first Galleon in the Fort:
Shots of the SE & NW for lurker reference:
I shifted the Rifle from Llamas to Chickens to be MP when the Gren moves on next turn.
And all cities complete a build this turn:
Plus two Drafts.
And I found a spare Happiness resource:
Not as good as Donovan's Silks, but better than nothing and available now.
And I rolled the turn to a larger wrench:
We'll have to Stage the Cavs 1SW of Donkeys since he can see 1W of the city. We might want to keep building Culture for a turn to keep hold of the hill 1NE?
