[Spoilers] Dreylin's short visit to a late Era

General will go for Military Academy. The alternatives are Commando-unit or Medic-unit, but I do not think that we need any of those. Commandoes mean some kind of "low" play. Medics are good in situation when one of your opponents made mistake. But in my practice you either get fully eliminated or not attacked at all, so no use for medic-GG.

Military Academy combined with high base production in this era and Kremlin is much more effective than any promotions. I am not sure where to build it first though, in Lhamas or Rabbits. I think in both smile

Hmmm, makes sense I think - although even if things go well, we'll need the services of a regular Medic before finishing Gaspar off completely.

My first thought is always to put it in a coastal city so you can get the bonus on ships as well; GP or Chameleons would be good, but they are also pretty vulnerable. Chickens is pretty secure, but I think we're configuring for Specialists, right?

So it's probably Rabbits, simply because it's back on military builds already, while Llamas still has a University to complete.

There is some logic to have it coastal cities, but the primary idea is to have as much land tiles as workshops as possible and to set city on growth while making ~1 unit per turn. Lhamas has slightly better situation, bigger size right now, more initial food for initial growth some river tiles fo levee. University takes just 1 turn. But Rabbits is also good.

Keep in mind that in long term we will prepare one city for Ironworks.

It took Gaspar 7 mins to play this turn, which is suspicious. Last turn he played in 3 mins. Unfortunately I was already out and couldnt check if he attacked our stack and was he successful by any.

Yeah, but it also looks like Donovan logged in while he was playing, which would have eaten up a couple of minutes. He also whipped within a minute of login, which doesn't show a lot of consideration of the situation that might be expected if attacking.

Going to ask for a pause, since I can't play in the time window.

I also agree that attacking while somebody is logging in is a bad omen.

I will be able to check the situation in approximately 5-6 hours from now. When is your next playing window?

My window starts about the same time that the timer ends, so wouldn't be a big delay. I might be able to grab a couple of minutes in now before heading to work....

Great!
Size of 13 city must give us enough gold to buy settler. Cant explain why did he only whip Richard Nixon.

Size 13 city will be the largest we have! crazyeye Fingers crossed that we get to keep the Levee.

We need to keep our eyes out for a potential naval snipe from scooter; he has his a Galleon in the ex-Barb city with just the two Grens showing, so he's either got Rifles loaded or they already moved out somewhere. He has his explorer watching SW of Cats.

Also, I'm thinking to move the pair of Cavs that are currently with the MG back onto the main stack before attacking - ideally the MG will move into the city at EoT and those 2 Cavs would be exposed to potential counter-attack from Nixon if they attack from the current tile & are left un-covered.
