Could you increase the avatar size slightly from 64 x 64 to 70 x 70? Most of the avatars I use are that size and I don't have a program to shrink it + keep transparency. If not, well, I'll just go avatarless.

If we're on the subject, does anyone know what's up with the default smiley here? The one stored at http://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/image.../smile.gif ? All the other emoticons show up fine, but I've been seeing a blank box for the default one for about a week now...

Not sure - I get it too (but on the smiley display list I get the alternate text "Smiley").

That was really odd. The permissions were set wrong on some of the images in that folder, so the public was forbidden to see about 6 smilies. :P We recently moved to a new server, so perhaps something happened during the move.
So far, if the only trouble that comes with a server move is the need to CHMOD 6 smilies, I'd say it went pretty smoothly!  Edit- The fact that nobody seemed to notice the other "missing" smilies makes me wonder how many people know about the "advanced" posting screen. The little window below the thread is the "quick reply" box. It's great if you know what you're going to say and your post is relatively short. However, it's not so great when you're trying to compose a full post, because there's really not room to see what you're writing, and most of the tools aren't available.
