I don't want to speed up my death, if Mr Cairo wants to win this game he'll have to do it the hard way. I won't throw the game to him.

Oh, no, I don't mean that. I just mean that at this point I'm not too sad to see him bringing in reinforcements.

I've had enough of this game. Seriously I can't win a 75% battle, while Cairo gets to retreat from 24% battles with his HAs. Added to the 89% one I lost a few turns back this is beyond frustration. I should have turtled up and waited for death instead of trying counter attacks that are defeated by the RNG.

Edit : Our capital is probably lost, too many HAs not enough defenders (a lot where sent in the counterattack)

We're not dead. Still 3 relatively well defended cities standing. At some point I realized that machinery wasn't too expensive a tech and I tried to get there (to get Xbows) but the loss of the cap hindered our research capacity and I doubt we'll get the tech before our death.

Well...at least it wasn't Jowy's fault this time .

I almost sent all our remaining units to conquer 2 poorly defended cities of Jowy today. Ichabod is killing him so there were only an axe/spear pair to defend them. But I think it's not worth it.

Cairo chickened out...

Cairo attacked last turn but it didn't go well for him so he stopped midway (after losing 2 cats an axe and 3 HAs).




I need construction to be able to cross that river... But machinery first, so he can have a taste of crossbows.

Also Ichabod gifted us iron whale pig and stone so that was nice

Machinery in. Next turn I double whip 3 CB (we have 4 cities total).

Random thought : maybe Ichabod will decide to help us even more and destroy Cairo's stack once he's done with Jowy.

The city was supposed to put the crossbow at above 10/60 so it could be double whipped this turn and arrive next turn. But cairo moved onto the hill tile I was using so the game auto changed it to a f-ing 2/0/2 tile. When another 0/4/1 tile was available, and when the 2/0/4 tile cairo was sitting on previously was now free.

Anyway, I don't think Cairo can take the city this turn. Even with 4 cats. He would need to win all the battles with his hitters, which would require a lot of luck. So I brought all the soldiers from the southern city to help next turn. If only there had been a crossbow there too, ready to help...
