I believe he wanted to unload, but accidentally upgraded the galleon to a transport. And looking at the treasury, it'll be tough to get Physics next turn.

Mostly yes, although Physics will be fine. I did accidentally click the upgrade button rather than the unload button. After I took that screenshot, I swapped Power Loom from research to wealth and hired a couple merchants, and that made it possible to finish Physics on time.

Turn 333
Lots of interesting things happening.
* Pindicator retook a city of his. That's hopeful! (Until REM logged in and burned it anyway)
* Dreylin responded to my swaps by re-sending them to hint at acceptance, and he immediately fired a golden age and seems set to do a 5T tech burn. Seems like he plans to get some military techs for 5T, then I bet swap into war civics at the end of the peace treaty as the golden age is winding down. That's hopeful!
* BGN fired a golden age. More importantly, he didn't sign peace. That's hopeful too! Also, here's the power graphs ASM requested.
That's a pretty solid buildup by BGN there. Obviously it's dwarfed by REM, but the point is REM does have to account for that. REM probably still has as much military as the 3 of us combined, but that may not necessarily be enough to make serious progress while at war with all 3. Not to mention make progress quick enough before Dreylin piles on.
So while I was feeling very negative yesterday, I'm back up to "not totally apocalyptic" today. Commodore has frequently said endgames are often decided on morale just as much as strategy/tactics, and there's some very real truth to that. So let's stay positive, don't do stupid things (or stupidly not do things), and see if we can get the door propped back open again.
Unless Dreylin declares on us in 2T. Then I'll definitely do something like this:
ANYWAY.
Took a quick look with this Privateer, and there doesn't appear to be a second fleet up here, so that helps. I noticed after moving this and making all those "range" signs for REM's Destroyer's that one of his Destroyers has Nav1 and can actually move 9 tiles. Meaning my Privateer can't escape. So I "solved" that this way:
I think the Privateer is actually marginally more valuable to us than the Ironclad at this stage due to the vision. More importantly, if he chooses to kill the Ironclad, his Destroyer should be just wounded enough that I should be able to comfortably clean it up with our own Destroyer. That was less certain killing a 6h unit. I think he'll leave them alone. Unless of course he's got another Destroyer around that we can't see, in which case this is futile anyway. Seemed to be worth a shot to me.
I mostly kept boats down here in place. They're defending the area while making REM think twice about pushing into the mainland of pindicator. They're more or less good where they're at.
It was at this moment that I noticed the Transport and laughcryraged at my mistake. Anyway, I had little choice but to back off this channel until I get another couple Destroyers up here. In the meantime, I dropped 3 units in Zipper, shuttled another unit down to Photography, and pulled the rest into Spinning Jenny (two Infantry) are on the fort defending the Frigates that couldn't get any further).
I also extended the northwest coast rail to complete the shortest path from Radio to Zipper so that we can shuttle in additional units if absolutely necessary.
We're at that stage of the game where ending turn and logging out is the scariest part of my day. Anyone who's ever played one of these this deep knows exactly what I mean.

Unfortunately. The ending to that was completely soul-sucking for me. Got suckered into thinking there was a chance on a day they should have had no chance.
I've always admired the ejection double bird though.

So... you didn't use any of my worker recommendations? That's fine, but next time let me know ahead of time so that I don't spend an hour painstakingly putting the suggestions into our spreadsheet on my phone while logging in from a mobile hotspot.
I logged in to check the game state. It looks like REM is going to leave us alone this turn, at least I think. He used an airstrike against some of our infantry but otherwise left us alone for now. He still hasn't finished his turn yet though. I'm still not a fan of that stack of boats/units next to Induction Coil. I know there's a destroyer on top for defense, but it still seems like an invitation to get our stack of ships sunk, all our land units drowned, and then the city captured. I think it's a lot safer to put the units in the city, and the ships down in the southern ocean for now until we can get some more destroyers (and airships) in play. With galleons in Induction Coil, we can reinforce Photography just as easily from the city as from the water a tile north of it, and we can also move along pindicator's rail network into Russia if we would see a chance to attack a juicy REM target. I guess I don't see an advantage to being on the water, and very real danger. Am I missing something here?
The larger news is pretty good, I agree. REM captured two cities from pindicator but was forced to raze one of them, which means he must have been under pressure to lose it again. Dreylin is whipping units. BGN didn't sign peace, although REM/BGN haven't done any fighting yet. At the very least, REM seems to be making enemies of everyone right now. Maybe the path to victory will be lurking quietly in the shadows while coalitions repeatedly take down the frontrunner.

I didn't see any worker orders when I played the turn today...? I'll take a look at that and your other comments tomorrow. Maybe I'm losing my mind and mixed up the columns somehow, but I could have sworn I saw nothing for this turn. Really sorry about that either way, that sucks to have wasted that time.

Oh thank goodness, I thought you accidentally loaded everything onto the transport.

You're right, there's nothing in the document when I checked it on my laptop again. That's crazy; I definitely typed a whole bunch of stuff in there on my phone yesterday. I wonder what happened... Well, I'll make sure to use the laptop next time. Sorry about that scooter.
